Magic bands plus kids clubs

Hi all,

I'm currently trying to decide if I should invest money in a Magic Band plus it not (family of 6). We will be doing both WDW and DCL I have the old MB from 2019 however I heard that you need MB+ for the kids clubs is that right?

They'll issue you a band to use in the kids club for a nominal fee that is refundable if the band is returned before 11 PM on the last night of the cruise, we already had MB+ so my daughter just used that. Came in handy when my mom picked her up from the kids club and she could let herself back into the room when my husband and other kiddo were already asleep.

You do not need to bring your own MB for the clubs. If you don't have your own, they will issue one. The one advantage of bringing your own is that they won't put a lock on it. My daughter hates having to keep the band on for the whole cruise so she prefers to bring her own that she can remove at night.
