Magic Bands Personalization Time?

Hi there! My magic bands have been in the personalization stage for several days. How long does it take from personalization to shipping? Just trying to figure out if I should call and se if there is a problem or wait a bit more. Thanks!

When is your trip? MB ship ~30 days from your check-in date.

We're 24 days out. I've never done anything Disney so I'm learning as I go.

We went back in May and the MB's shipped very quickly after the 30 day point. This time, the experience was different. I called around 11/4 (trip is 11/26). The first time the cast member didn't even look up my reservation. She just said "don't worry until you're ten days out." I asked what happens if they don't arrive before we leave and she said we would get gray bands at arrival.

The more that stewed in my head, I wasn't ok with that answer. I called back, spoke to a cast member who was happy to help, and got a better answer. He said they have been having an issue with nicknames (i.e., your name is William but your Magic Band personalization is Bill). We had a personalization, but he said he would call the distribution center and have them sent. We had MB's within a week! By the way - we used a nickname in May too, so I guess it is a "new" problem.

Mine was still stuck in "Personalizing" and then "Act Now" for way too long for my comfort (trip was in 18 days). I ended up calling and getting IT to look into it, and they discovered mine were on a hold due to the nickname issue as well. He got them moving along and they shipped the next day. If you are still outside of the 30 day window, I wouldn't sweat it. But if you hit the 20 day mark and it still hasn't shipped, I recommend calling. It couldn't hurt to double check.

I made some recent changes to my reservation, which resulted in me getting some new reservation numbers. Anyways, I received the Incredibles mailer stating my reservation number, dates and when I can make FP+ reservations and it said that the date of the last day to customize my magic bands was 14 days prior to my check in date. The original Incredibles mailer for this same trip that I got in the late spring had a date that was 30 days prior.

I'm not sure if this is because my reservation was changed around or whatever, but that's what it said on the mailer.

In the past, it did ship between 28-30 days prior to checking in. My friend is staying at his DVC and is checking in this Dec 5th. The tracking # for his bands on My Disney Experience states the delivery is expected between Nov. 19th-21st.
