So I believe the Magic Bands get sent to your resort if you don't live in US right? But we're not actually staying on site. Is there a way to use the fastpass+ feature without the bands? Will they send them to our actual hotel? Can we pick them up a Guest Services?

Magicbands get sent to your resort if you are staying onsite. As long as you've got tickets linked to MDE, you can book your fp's 30 days in advance. I believe you would use your tickets in the park for FP or you could buy magicbands when you are there if you wish and link your tickets to the magicband.

No matter where you live, you only get a free magic band if you are staying on site. If you are staying off site you will either use your paper ticket for park or FP ride entry, or you can purchase a magic band when you get there and once activated, use it.

Either way, you need to purchase tickets first and add them to your MDE account. Once that is done you can book your FPs at 30 days.

Since I'm assuming you've possible booked a room that dare not speak it's name, I honestly have no idea what you will do. No, they will not send them to your hotel. If you have a friend in the US, I'd suggest using their address for shipping, and then have them forward them on to you.

The OP can do what minnie mum said. She doesn't need to have Magic Bands ahead of time.

Just a note, there are no more paper tickets. All are plastic RFID-equipped cards, the size of a credit card.

For the OP, the other posters are correct. A card works the same as a Magic Band for park entry and FP+.

As minnie mum says, staying offsite they will not get magic bands. Those are only given automatically to those staying onsite. They will get tickets but will have to buy their own Magic band (and only if they want one) when they get to WDW.

Yes, and you are both aware of throwaway rooms. The way it was worded, to me suggested that she may have done this. Which is why I replied as I did.

I am in Canada and my family and I went to Disney over Christmas. I had my magic bands sent to my sisters in South Carolina so she could send them to me and this was the first week of December. I have still never received them! I called and there was a new set of magic bands waiting for us when we checked in to AOA. Still not sure where that first set is!

Thanks everyone. I wasn't sure if there was a way to do it without the bands. As there are only two of us and we're both adults, I doubt we'll buy any. I'm sure we can keep track of our tickets.
