Magic Bands from prior trip

During our December trip we stayed at the Contemporary. We ordered our magic bands and attempted to link on our Disney Experience. After many days of trying, we were still not able to book any fast passes. After a call to reservations we were told that somehow our reservations had been "lost", but they were able to retrieve them. The explanation was due to the conversion to the new magic bands. The time had expired to make the fast passes so when we arrived at the Contemporary we decided not to link our reservations and tickets to the bands. This brings me to the question that I cannot seem to find an answer to......we have the bands that were never linked or activated. We are staying at the Dolphin in September. Will we be able to use these bands and link our tickets and reservations through My Disney Experience in order to secure fast passes?

Give it a try with the linking process. You do need a nine digit Dolphin confirmation code. It should work fine.

You no longer need to book through the kiosks when staying off-site. All you need are valid tickets to link to your MDE account.
