Magic Bands for Swan and Dolphin

How do I get magic bands for my family as a guest of the the Dolphin? Everything is linked in my Disney account. Do they still do the option to order 10 days out from the trip?

In the past you could find Magic Bands for sale at the Disney Cabanas (Swan) and Disney Gift Store (Dolphin) and maybe (if they are open) the Disney planning spots. Keep in mind that they are not used at Swan/Dolphin for anything.

I saw all of that on the website as well but no place to actually order the bands?Just see my past bands which I worry won't have enough battery power at this point? not sure how long they last

Short range things like scanning for park admission, ride access, etc don’t rely on the battery and will always work. Long range things like on ride photos do depend on the battery and will eventually not work. There’s not really a definitive answer as to just how long they will last as it depends on use, etc, but it should be several years. Hope that helps.

And they were never offered for Swan and Dolphin any way. They aren't given a chance to order them at a reduced cost either.

Is there a way to test the batteries before you go to know if they'll work for the long range things?

Is there a way to test the batteries before you go to know if they'll work for the long range things?

None that I’m aware of. Only test I know of is, you get ride photos or you don’t. If ride photos are very important and your band exceeds 2 years, I’d buy 1 new one.
