Magic Bands ... do they have to be ordered in advance

Or can you get them at check in?

We booked through a TA and everything isn't linked through MDE - only our ADRs. We are travelling with 16 people - 5 different reservations - I don't want to mess anything up by trying to link my stuff and nobody else's will be linked with mine. They are currently "linked" through the TA.

Will we be able to use Magic Bands (if available) ... or do we have to have them ordered prior to check in?

If its up and running MBs not preordered will be grey. But yes, you can get them there as far as I've seen.

I'm sort of ok with waiting and just getting the gray one! They have so many cute sleeves and charm things to decorate them with I can't wait to hopefully try them out. When we were at AKL they had an entire section of accessories for the magic bands. Hopefully we'll get them for our May trip!

you do so far enough in advance. I saw no option to pick up on arrival once I confirmed my address. They shipped out FAST. If you want shipment, do so as soon as soon as you have the opportunity. Want to pick up on arrival, delay confirming address until the last few days before you arrive. They won't ship out. I hate to say 5 days but I'm going from just my faulty-prone recall. When 65+ years you reach good memory you will not have. Mine started at 55+ Oh wait I think it was more like age 19. I wanted to make sure I could book FastPass+ in advance so I went ahead and confirmed my address. All Magic+ stuff opened up. I think. I left a note around here someplace.
