Magic Bands "Delivered" but Haven't Showed Up

So Friday my Magic Bands were "delivered" to my office. I wasn't here to get it because I went home early sick with a cold. USPS says it was given to the front desk/receptionist. I spoke to my receptionist this morning (also a big disney fan, so she knows how important it is!) and she said there's nothing for me. I didn't see anything in the area either. It may have ended up in our mailbox, but may not have since usps said it was left at the front desk. What are my next steps if it doesn't appear by this afternoon? Do I just call them and report it? I'm so sad, it's my first time having magic bands and we personalized them and all and now I feel like we're just going to get generic ones at the hotel or something. I've never had packages lost at the office (its not a very big office), which is why i always send things here. Anyone else ever not have them show?
 
was maybe someone else covering the desk while the receptionist was out to lunch or on break? Does your office have a mailroom that it could've accidentally been placed in? Hope you get the mystery resolved!
 
We are leaving on Friday and we had this same thing happen to us. The tracking number was showing it had been delivered to our house but we never saw anything. We called Disney and they said we would have to call the post office. We called the post office and they said they would get back to us in 24-48 hours. We never received a call back from them. We called them back and the guy who we talked to this time said that the ticket that was opened showed that the items had been delivered and so no one had even looked into it. While on the phone, this guy looked up the GPS on the package and it turns out they were sent to the wrong house, returned to the post office and the post office just sent them back to Disney. UGH! I had my travel agent call Disney and see if they could have them reissued and sent to our resort. I didn't want to chance it that they would be lost again. I did ask if they would still be personalized like we wanted and she said she has had this happen before and the re-issued ones were personalized. I don't know if this is true or not. I will find out on Saturday, I guess. Good luck!
 
If they haven't shown up, then yes, you will likely get directed to get some from the front desk when you check in. And that probably means gray for everyone.

My bet is someone put them somewhere for safe keeping and they do show up.
 

Since Disney is now taking last minute orders for customized ones and having them at the front desk, I bet a quick call to the MB people will result in customized ones at the front desk.

To the person having the TA take care of this...pretty sure you could have called about this on your own! When you customized them, did you notice if your TA's address was in the MB spot? (a common occurrence with online TAs at the very least) If so, you changed that address, right?
 
I am waiting out to the afternoon just in case they went into the mailbox, and then if i dont get it from there I will check with the desk downstairs in the lobby, on the off chance they delivered it THERE and not at the suite # of our office as the should have. Then i guess next steps is calling. *sigh* wish me luck!
 
If it is shipped thru USPS, "delivered" means delivered to the local post office. It takes a day or two before it is in your mail box. I learned from my Zulily deliveries.

Everything that's been delivered to me by the USPS has not been marked as 'Delivered' until it was actually delivered to the delivery address (home or work).

Your local PO is marking them incorrectly if they flag them as delivered before they reach your physical address.
 
Yeah I've never had it flagged delivered unless it actually was, as well. Nothing seemed to have show up in the office mailbox, all I can do is check downstairs lobby desk. If nothing, I'll give customer service a call tonight, at the very least. I know it's silly to be sad about not having my name on a magic band, I mean i AM going to disney, and that should be good enough! But im a little disappointed is all! womp womp.
 
Just in case this helps someone else with momentary anxiety: I tracked my magic bands today and it said they were delivered at 5:20. I got home about 5:30 and there was nothing there. I was in the process of trying to fill out the USPS form for issues (a lost cause, that is), when I heard a knock on the door. They were just delivered at 5:50. Normally, I wouldn't have worried with it all - what's a few minutes - but I, too, thought that if it said "delivered" and they weren't here, then there was a problem. Apparently, we all have differing views on the concept of what "delivery" actually is. Lucky for me, it's all good.

I don't think it's silly at all, and I hope customer service makes it right for you :wizard:
 
Oh man, crisis averted!!! Just as I was about to leave work and give them a call, it showed up on my desk. Turns out it got delivered to the floor below us and someone brought it up. So... i guess maybe this thread was me jumping the gun. Still, thank you to everyone's great responses. Interesting to hear that some people got personalized bands if they called soon enough. Shmily01, hope you get your personalized ones!

I don't think this thread was you jumping the gun. You had every right to be a little bit worried. My Magic Bands were only delivered to my resort with 3 days left. So I think they really wait to the last mi ute to customized them even if they did give me a date. I am from Canada and they can't ship mine.

I did call about this on my own. We called Disney, they told us to call the post office. They couldn't help so I called my TA to see what the next step was. And, after we finally did get an answer from the post office about them being delivered the wrong address, it wasn't the TA's address it was sent to. It was to another address on my block.
