Hello experts,
I am taking my daughter and 2 of her friends to WDW in June. We are staying on site.
I was just going to set up all the bands with my credit card info and settle at the end of the trip.
Will the bill have purchases itemized by magic band?
Am I, or the friends parents, able to set up their credit card info on their child's band?
so each band has a different credit card?
thanks for your help.

Bump to see if anyone can answer. It got buried. Quickly. Thank you.

I know that the bill is broken down by name on the magic band. I don't know about linking different cards to different magic bands.

Yes, you can link each card that has charging privileges to a different credit card.

We are taking my niece on this upcoming trip and I actually called and asked this question since I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
Here's what I was told. During online check in you can only attach on card to the bands, but you can change that at arrival. You can attach a seperate card to each band once there, but the person has to be there to sign for card usuage. So in my scenario it wouldn't work. I would have had to have my sister's credit card and her be there to sign for my niece to attach the card to her band. But if the kids had their own credit/debit card, they could sign to use those on their bands.
Make sense?

Thanks for the reply and that makes sense.

So, if I just use my credit card for everyone's band, does the final bill differentiate what charge was from which band? That would help a ton.

Can we get credit card statements from the hotel each day? That way we can try to go thru it daily and mark the charges.

My GF and I were able to put her credit card on her MB and my credit card on mine. The front desk at the hotel did it in about 5 minutes.

Just be sure to check an itemized bill before you leave the hotel. My Mom requested that they link her cc to her band and the front desk did it quickly without any problem--so we were told. However, I decided to ask for an itemized bill before getting on the ME and all of my Mom's purchases were charged to me!! They offered to correct the problem by reversing her charges off my cc & then charging them to her cc. They said it would take a while and we were waiting for the ME bus--so my Mom ended up just writing a check to me for her expenses. What a mess!! :(

I know when we checked in, my credit card was the only one on the account. However, my daughter had to have a pin number for her magic band as well as myself. Well, low and behold, her magic band worked every time and mine only worked when it felt like it and never for dining!!!!!! Go figure. I even went to guest services and they "fixed" it, not.....not much I could do about it but, go with the flow..it always worked to open the room, but, a few times to enter a park...My daughter could use hers for everything...My grandchildren used theirs to open the door and enter the park, I didn't trust them to use them for dining:)

My experience has been that they do separate the purchases by band. As for the different credit cards per band I would imagine at check in if they CC was In their name. I can't see them attaching a child's band to a person who was not present ie their parents without them Being there to say it was ok
