Magic bands and Magical express

My in laws just booked a last minute split stay at Contemporary. 24-26,26-29. From their my Disney experience, the magic bands for 24-26 has been delivered to the front desk already, but the ones for 26-29 are still pending? Do they only receive one set of the magic bands since they are staying at the same resort just two different rooms?

As is magical express, our departure time is 6 am, do they pick us up at 3 am?

They can have one set of bands or two - usually 2 reservations will have bands for each. Usually you can decline the bands but because they booked so close to the actual reservation they might just have to deal with it when they get there.

It sounds as if the ME has returned back to the 3 hours prior pick up. So unfortunately they will be picking you up by 3am.

AFAIK it went back to 3 hours prior,but you can always call and change the pick up time to when ever you want.We have done this the last 3 times we were there.
We have had flights leaving at 5 am and been picked up at 1:30 am.

Huh okay thanks! We've never used Magical Express before because we always rented a car. This will be our first time without renting a car.

It switched back to 3 hours give or take, Jan 11th, the day before we checked out.

Okay cool thanks! That’s nice for us because our plane doesn’t leave until around 4 so we can sleep in and hang around our hotel a bit.
