Magic bands and DVC

We have our first stay at Bay Lake Towers coming up in a week. Although I customized our magic bands several weeks ago, they have yet to be shipped. MDE says they could ship at any moment. I am afraid they are not going to make it in time. Has anyone had any experience with this? This will be our third trip using the magic bands but we have never waited this long to receive them. Does it have anything to do with staying at a DVC resort? Thanks for any advice!

Ours were shipped 2 weeks prior to arrival and it only took a few days.

Call and make sure the names on the room reservation are the SAME as the names on MDE. My sister in law had this issue for our December trip. 10 minutes on the phone cleared it up.

I just made the call. This was exactly the problem. It is all straightened out, but they will have to ship the bands to the resort now. I am glad it all worked out, but I can't help but wonder what would have happened if I had not made the call. I wish they had let me know that there was a problem. Thanks so much for the help!

You can also reuse the MB's from your last visit if you want to take them with you for DME.

Hope that they arrive...Ours came over 2 weeks before arrival. There was a "GLITCH" THOUGH! We had a split stay and had 2 sets of customized MB's mailed which arrived at our home appropriately. When we checked into AKV Jambo, for some reason a "third" MB was added and it took "some sorting" out at the desk when we arrived! ENJOY your trip!
