Magic Bands and Arrival Day Parking

No responses on the Transportation Board so I thoug I would try again here!

Do we need to stop by our resort before driving to the parks on arrival day if we want free parking?

We've already checked in online and have "streamlined check-in" at Pop. SIL and DN have the same question but don't want to do online check-in. We will be in separate cars.

You don't need to stop by the hotel before going to any parks. Your magic bands are already good to go and you can just have the booth CM scan your magic band for free parking.

Early online check in is recommended and really no reason not to do it. However for those in your party that don't want to do online check in, if their magic bands are scanned and don't show free parking..you'll get a refund on the parking just keep the receipt. However you should all be fine

We just got back and on our first day we went right to HS no problems parking or getting into the park. We did not go to our room until about 10pm we also use online check in.
