Magic bands and a split stay....

Hi! So we are planning a split stay in late sept and early October. My husband is coming for the 2nd part, staying home for the 1st part. If our check in day for part 2 is October 2nd..... Since we receive the magic bands early.... Can we use them on 10/1? My husband is going to fly down on the first.... And we are going to check into part 2 of our stay on the 2nd. If the tickets have enough days... Can they be used a day early?

You should have no problem using the park passes one day early as long as they are linked to your MB in MDE. However, you will need to have your park tickets activated at a park (or downtown disney) guest relations desk prior to using them for park entry.

When you visit Theme Park Guest Relations to get early ticket pickup, have ID and reservation info for part 2 resort stay. Your question pertains to your DH, who will arrive one day prior to resort stay 2. How about for you? Is your plan to use your tickets from resort stay 1 and continue using them during resort stay 2?

You can add days to your tickets, up to 10 days max. It's always recommended that you use the tickets first to enter a theme park, to ensure they are valued at gate price before doing an upgrade. At Day 4, adding each park day to your ticket is $10.65 at current gate price.
