There doesn't seem to be a firm customization window date. You should be able to do it in another month or two. March guests are just getting access to customization now.

Actually, the names are not visible on the band. They are printed in small gold text on the underside of the band. The only thing visible on the band itself is the raised Mickey symbol and the holes for adjusting the band or for 'bling'. The names are also printed on the inside of the box so it's a nice presentation keepsake if you opt for cute names.

I do not know if it is working yet, but your name can come up when you go to meet characters, they will see that name and call you by it - but a child might be tickled to be referred to by his/her nickname!

Just FYI...the name that comes up is the name on your reservation, not the name on the band. Some people have decided to put nicknames or favorite characters' names on their bands, instead of their actual name. These will not show when the band is scanned. Only the actual name on the reservation will show.

I wore mine through the full-body TSA scanner with no issues.

Sorry if this is a repeat question, I looked through a few pages but did not read all of them.

Am I to understand that if I have a package reservation with 2 day tickets that we intend to upgrade to AP's, that I will only be able to select FP+ for 2 days, even though we are there 13?

I thought all resort guests got FP+. I had a room only reservation at AoA and tested the magic bands last month and was able to select FP+ for our days.

At my 60-days today. I could add my mother on fastpass+ but my girlfriend cannot be added even though the reservation confirmation was added to her profile so she is linked up and it says she has 8 day park hoppers. Anyone know how I can fix it to begin scheduling fastpass+ with her included?

Will there be an issue if I link my christmas party tickets to my magic band? We have 7-day park hopper tickets and we are planning on entering MK early the day of the party.

I did not scan my MB when I entered MK evem though they were linked. I scanned the RIFD ticket. But my 3 FPs (for between 4 and 7) worked fine.

Woohooo! Was able to customize our MBs for our 4/13-4/19 stay at AoA! I was literally checking everyday for it to open up. (My mom says I need therapy ). Just an FYI, it still said "Manage Magic Bands" and never changed to personalize but it still let me do it.

Also, does anyone know how small they actually get?! My DD3 has really small wrists and so does DS5 and DD8. I'm actually terrified that they will fall off and get lost which would DEVESTATE them since I let them pick out their own colors. TIA

We stayed for 13 days with 10 day tickets. We upgraded to AP's on day 10 and only then were we able to make FP selections for our remaining three days.

All resort guests get MB's but you still need to have tickets. So for example four day tickets will get you four days worth of FP.

If I'm staying for 13 days on site and I have an AP, then I believe I can make FP selections for my entire length of trip.

Just to clarify, the bands have a colored part and a dark gray part. The outer gray part can be removed, leaving the colored, inner piece. This makes the bands smaller so they are a better fit for tiny wrists.

This is good to know! I was worried reading other posts. My kids all have small wrist.

And for us adults with "in between" sized wrists, you can trim the grey section to make it shorter, and MUCH more comfortable

Okay that would have been helpful if the front desk told us that. We are leaving right now and I just noticed that. UGH... but it also looks like once you remove the outer layer you cannot add it back.
