Magic band with split stay

I have a one night stay at Pop followed by a package at Pop starting the next night. When I went to order magic bands it gives me the choice to buy two sets of bands.

I only ordered one set for the family; how does this affect having the package on my band? Does this mean I will not be able to do mobile check in?

I did request to stay in the same room(I know this is only a request). We are not trying to use the package (dining plan or tickets) until the day they are valid. We do want to go straight to the park the morning of without stopping at the check in desk. Is this possible?

Since you have two separate reservations you are able to order a set of MagicBands for each reservation.

You can order one set or two sets, it makes no difference. All of the MB's linked to your MDE account will work for everything - resort room, tickets and dining plan. The MB's have no effect on online check in. But since you have two reservations you will have to do online check in for each reservation.

When you check in for your first reservation ask the desk to make sure that you will be able to go into the park in the morning without checking in at the desk. You should be able to do that without a problem.

Do they still give grey bands at check in by default if you don’t select anything? Might as well just pick 2 bands each and have 2 colours to choose from. Not doing so won’t hurt anything though.

They sometimes have some colored bands available at the desk.

WHY?
OP. Nothing is ON the band. YourMagic Band is like your debit card is to access your account. Everything is in your MDE Account.
