magic band with split stay

we are staying at our non home resort SSR with a split stay 4nights in a 1bdr and 4 nights in a standard room and just saw on our MDE website we are getting a magic band for each reservation. is that because they are still in testing? or are we gonna have a pile of magic bands with every reservation? i thought you would get 1 and it would keep updating it self? can some one help clarify thank you

Right now they are sending one per reservation. That should stop at some point but for now that's the way it is. If you don't customize them you will get gray bands so you might as well pick two different colors and enjoy!
