Magic Band Watch and Accessories

I never wear a watch, but wearing the MB made me feel like I had one on, and I kept looking at my wrist, then asking DH the time, because I didn't want to dig my phone out. Eventually I gave in and bought a watch (clever, Disney, very clever!) that I haven't worn since I got home from WDW, and while I was paying for it I told the chatty clerk that they needed to come up with a MagicSlider that had a digital clock in it. Of course later they did come out with one, but the reviews were meh, and it was much clunkier than what I envisioned.

Here is my slap watch on the band.

Any magic band you order today will be slimmer in width than The one you ordered last year. I don't see the slap watches fitting any different. I paid $8.00 and that included shipping on Amazon.

What did you search for on amazon? When I searched slap watch yesterday I found a watch that slaps on and was all one piece. I would like a watch for my band because I don't want to wear my watch with my band. Thanks!

I bought a watch for the Magic Band at Disney. They are very hard to find, I've only seen them in a couple of stores. I paid I think $26 for it. It was a total waste of money. It's very bulky and fits on the side of the band. It's uncomfortable to wear.

Yes there are. I bought a Minnie Mouse analog style one that fits on the MB at the gift shop at a Pop earlier this week. It cost $24.95. I also saw a digital Mickey one in the gift shop at Space Mountain. They slip right on the band, but the packaging says to wear them to the side of the Mickey head in the band so it doesn't interfere when you scan your band.

No.
Built-in MB Mickey head is on top.
Watch slides onto the MB, on the side of the band.
That is exactly the way the watch adds-ons sold by Disney work.

You can slide the Mickey face off of the band and slide it onto your magic band.

I paid $12 that included shipping and got to me pretty fast. I would say in 12 days. I live in Florida. Not sure how that plays out with shipping.

You slide them off. They are not attached the face plate.

Hi all, so can someone measure the width of the new Magic Bands for me. I took my old MB to Kohl's last night and measured it against a lot of watches (both child and adult). It really look like none of them would be wide enough to slide on the MB. I know it was mentioned that the new MB's are narrower then the old ones. As we will not get our MB's until we get to Disney, is it possible for someone to measure the width of the MB for me.

You want to find a "slap watch" (as discussed previously in this thread.)
Their bands are about the same wide width as the MB.

The new MB straps are about the same width as the "old/original" MB straps.
The width of the strap at the point the watch would be positioned is just about 1 inch.
It is the thickness of the new bands that has changed and gotten thinner.

They are certainly inexpensive enough to give it a try!
We wore ours every day of a 12 day trip.

Well, after a busy day at the parks, it's possible that the watches might actually have some of those flavors if tasted.
It depends on what you ate that day.
