Just my opinion
I'm not sure a paper DISign would last very long,,,
I think one of the best ways to decorate (cheap) is to buy a $1 pkg of puffy stickers or wrap with some cloth ribbon.
Another idea is to use a scrunchi hair band.
I used Orioles tattoos on DH band and used glitter nail polish on mine. They look awesome. I also glued a couple Angry Birds ones to DS and Doc McStuffins on BDD. Older DD got fancy and made polka dots with nail polish on hers....
I think OP is asking for a template/outline/pattern of a Magic Band so the Duck Tape can be cut to fit before applying to the band. I have seen some cute ones done with the tape on another thread.
I would be interested in a template as well - just to be able to "play" with designs before applying to the actual band. Also, our trip isn't until January so won't get the bands for a while.
The thread I posted above has a template and a lot of information about using duck tape. It is very long, you just have to go through and find the posts about duck tape and the post with the template. It seems most people put the duck tape on the band and then use something sharp to cut off the extra.
I'd be interested in a template to use to cut out other materials - I also have a plotter cutter and would like to use sticky vinyl and having a template would be great.
I'm the type to spend 10 min making sure any decal is lined up JUST SO on toys, so I know I'd want something precise for this.
