Magic band split stay and undercover tourist

Can you all help me? In 54 days we leave. I purchased tix from undercover tourist. I got 8 day park hoppers. Here is the issue.... We are doing a split stay and will have 2 sets of bands. Will the park hoppers (once I link them on my disney expereince) be only on one set of magic bands or will the remainder of the days on the tix be converted over onto the next set of magic bands when we switch resorts. I hadn't thought about a split, bands and tix until now and now I am freaking out... please guide me through what will happen....

The tickets are not "on" the magic band. All the magic band does is connect to your My Disney Experience account. Either band will work for your entire stay as long as they are connected to your account.

ANY tickets you connect to your MyDisneyExperience account will be linked to ALL MagicBands linked to your MDE account.

You can wear any band on any given day. Today blue band, tomorrow red, next day blue again (or even the orange band you got during your 2013 trip). All bands linked to your name are interchangeable until their batteries die.

You do not have to worry about which band you use. All bands assigned to you will read back to the same MDX account, and your tickets and resort stays are linked to that account - so any band assigned to you can read your tickets or open your resort door, no matter when it was assigned, as long as you do not manually deactivate it in MDX. You can wear both bands interchangeably if you want.

So, does that mean that if I have two bands....and let's say that I have a fastpass+ for something that my husband wants to use on my behalf because I might be standing in a long line waiting to see princesses or something like that, he can just carry my 2nd band in his pocket and use it if need-be? And I wouldn't have to take my original band off?

For fastpass redemption, yes. I do not believe fastpass redemption is required to be done on the band you used to enter the park. For entering parks, no. In order to purchase something with your band, he should be able to do it as long as he has the PIN number for your room account.

My mom and I did this on our last trip in September. I gave her my band from last year to use my FP+ for things I couldn't ride because I was pregnant. Worked like a charm and I was able to keep my current MB with me to make purchases and use the DP.
