Magic Band Shipments

With USPS it is often a day late on the status update. you might see the final update on Monday.

My magic bands shipped on November 29th. I have had this same tracking message since December 2: :oops:

My bands were delivered today! Finally!!!
 
We are in the same boat, ordered a couple of weeks ago, no update on the tracking. We don't leave for a few more weeks so I am going to wait until after Christmas to follow up.

yeah, my three week mark from ordering is next week. I’ll call then if they still haven’t arrived. Hopefully yours will arrive.
 

Ours went from FL to GA (last reported location) and we live about an hour from Davenport FL where they originated.
Two weeks after shipment, our bands have finally arrived at USPS in Central FL. No delivery date is showing yet, but I would guess Tuesday at the latest.
 
Going on 3 weeks and still nothing. No changes to my shipping status/info and no bands. I called Disney again...got transferred to a different area of MDE IT...and very little help. It was suggested I call USPS to see what the hold up is. I told her that USPS is showing that they're still waiting on the pkg, but she insists they have it and it's on them. Basically, if they don't arrive in another couple of weeks, I have to call Disney's merch line since these were premium bands and they'd handle whatever replacements.

You leave before us, but that's the same spot I'm in. Mine have been in Davenport since the 10th. I know USPS is overwhelmed, but I felt like I was a one woman receiving center for packages over the last 8 or so weeks and this is the only package that's an issue. The girl I spoke to at Disney also said they have had a lot of calls about similar MB issues, so something tells me it's more than just USPS.
 
I just wanted to give everyone an update on this...since I'm on Day 43. I have resolution, but getting there was not the Disney I'm used to and I end this still quite frustrated.

- I called the merch line 2 weeks ago because my bands still hadn't shown up and the tracking hadn't changed. A reorder request was started for my bands. It took over a week (vs. the few days I was told) for them to be shipped, but new bands were shipped.
- The new bands actually made it to us yesterday, BUT my band was missing. I was concerned because MDE was only showing three bands, but figured it had something to do with mine being limited edition. Nope...it was a legitimate concern.
- I called the merch line this morning and after about a 15 minute hold, the girl I spoke to couldn't help me. She said that while some people on the merch line are trained to handle magic bands, she wasn't. She gave me a phone number for the ShopDisney parks merch line, but was going to try and connect me. I waited on hold for another 20 or so minutes in silence when the line started making funny noises.
-I decided to hang up and try calling the number myself. At least in calling the actual number for ShopDisney, I got hold music. I sat on hold for 1 hour and 32 minutes before my call was answered, just to find out my band is out of stock. The girl I spoke to today issued a refund for my band, but it's pretty sad that the system isn't configured to notify the guest that their item is out of stock and automatically issue said refund. I know USPS has had a lot of issues, but this was a Disney issue.

Oh, and my original bands ordered on Dec 8th are still showing Davenport FL USPS is awaiting the package.

For anyone who needs numbers to call to try and get their band delays sorted out...

Fwiw, I have a bunch of weekend trips planned for the next 3 weekends.

the magicbands were shipped on Jan-6..... and did not show up until today, Jan-20. Cutting it close!

during that time, there was almost no tracking info. Disney uses a 3rd party shipper to save money. All 3 weekends were shipped at same time. But it still made it, I get the impression Disney knows the logistics
 
The USPS has been very slow in updating the tracking. I have had many things ordered that showed no shipping info when I was told it shipped. I signed in on USPS and have been able to sign up for email updates. That helped.
