Magic Band scanner at Wilderness Lodge Pools?

Hi!
My group of (9) will be at Wilderness Lodge this summer; is it necessary for all of us to have our Magic Bands on when we swim in the Silver Springs pool (are the gates opened electronically with our Magic bands?). We'll have some little ones with us and I'm concerned that if they don't have a Magic band on and leave the fenced in play area, they won't be able to get back in without a Magic band... Yes, you will need your magic band to get in. Just bring them all.

This weekend I also saw them on the gates for the pools at Poly and Grand Floridian. Not sure if they are on the naughty list...yet

Yes, Wilderness Lodge is off the pool hopping list and has been for a bit.

In early December no Magic Band was needed to access the pool. I don't even remember an electronic lock, just a typical mechanical lock.
