Magic Band questions

Hi all, I know there are probably loads of threads on the Magicbands, I've searched but couldn't find what I wanted so apologies if this is duplicated.

If I link a credit card to my band to make purchases in various shops (great idea!) Then if i have a counter service meal somewhere and pay for it with my band, does it give me the option of using a QS dining plan credit or charging it to my card ?

Yes, the Magicband will act exactly like your KTTW card did

The process is now that once they have rung up your order you tap the card/band against the reader and enter you PIN. On the cashiers till they can then see how many credits you have if you are on the DDP or if you have charging. They will ask you if you want to use credits or charging - really easy. I did have a nose at the tills when I was ordered at the quick service to see the process!

Just check your receipts after each purchase. This is not a magic band issue - it happens with KTTW cards too, but we have had a few situations where I have paid with credits and then seen on the receipt that they have charged the meal/snacks to the room. It's not common but human error can and does happen and it's pretty easy to sort out while you are still there, but a bit more of a hassle if you only discover later
