Magic Band question

...yet another.... on our last trip,they sent us two sets of bands, b/c the first were all wrong with names,tix,etc. (long story,MDE hates me tho ) anyway, we used our 2nd set,and my ds lost his after the trip- I actually still have one of the 'wrong' bands sent to me,but I don't know what to do with it, can I re use the dumb thing,and attach it to someone in my accounts name for an upcoming trip? I don't love them too much, but my ds, who lost his, loved them. (anyone else feel like MB's are a giant waste of...everything?) anyway I have this unused band just sitting here.....

Magic Bands just connect to your MDE account. If they sent you new ones, it was because of the wrong names, not because of wrong tickets or anything wrong in your actual account since those things get fixed in the account and not the band.

As long as the band is associated with him, it should be fine.

oh yeah, you are right, that first set had the wrong names on there (there was a horrible hard to fix error mixing mutliple accts on MDE that we had to work HARD to separate) and the one MB I have left from that mess doesn't show at all on my current MDE, it actually has my name printed on it, does this make it unusable? just wondering before I add yet another useless piece of plastic to the local landfill....

hold on.... I found 2 more from that 'bad' batch I had put away..... 2 are not showing at all in MDE(wrong info obviously) but one of them was 100% unused,since it had the name of a member who didn't actually go on that trip- and I can see it still on my MDE page- can I use that one that is showing on my page,but for a different person who is in my account?

Magic bands are non transferable and can only be used for one person once their tied to someone's MDE
