Magic Band Question?

Just booked for December and got the vacation packet in the mail. I know I should know this, but we were there in May, and we got magic bands for that trip. Can we get new magic bands? Will we get new magic bands? As DVC Members, we got these little attachment thing a ma-bobs, and I was expecting just to use those same magic bands again. Though DVC is quick to explain that those are not an indication of our membership for the purpose of discounts, we did receive a discount on more than one occasion simply by the cast member seeing that.

If your room reservation is not already linked to your MDE profile, you need to link it manually. Once linked, there should be an option on the MagicBands and Cards page to customize MagicBands for that upcoming reservation.

Any MagicBands and RFID Cards that were previously assigned to you can be used interchangeably with your new MagicBands as long as they are not marked as 'Inactive' or 'Lost'.

I already linked the reservation to my profile. I didn't go ahead with the MagicBand customization at this point since I have 10 months. So what you are saying is that even if I get new magic bands, the old one will work? Or have they automatically been marked 'Inactive' since the trip on which we used them is over.

You can customize the MagicBands at anytime, they won't ship until you are less than 30 days from check-in.

All previous MagicBands are 'Active' unless manually changed.

All MagicBands associated with a profile can be used interchangeably.
