Magic Band question

This might belong somewhere else, just not sure where, but I know my DISers will come through.

Like many this is my first experience with the whole Magic Band process and I am first time on-site. Today I got an email saying it is almost time to mail the Magic Bands to us. Yeah this means trip is close.

Went to confirm my address and everything was good. The website said I need to link my stuff to the band. Do I have resort + tickets on package, 2 meals and FP+ stuff. Do I need to link all that to the band?

Did you purchase a package or everything separately? When you go on MDE and click on My Disney Experience and then My Reservations and Tickets, does everything show up? You should be able to look at each magic band and it should have a ticket number associated with it. When you click on Magic Bands and Passes, they should already be connected.

I am an AP holder, but my friend who is traveling with me had to purchase a 5 day PH for our trip. So when I would look on our room only reservation, my band had a ticket associated with it, but hers did not, so I had to click on "link a ticket" and add the ticket number for her band. Now it all shows up in my account.

If it's in your account (meals etc, FP+ etc) it should already be linked.

As long as it's in your MDE, you're good to go (the bands link to your MDE account)

if not - its as simple as adding the reservation #'s to your MDE account.

Thanks....everything is showing up in my MDE. I check every couple of days to make sure and wonder....did I get it right...lol.
