Magic Band order process

Hi! Wanted to order the upgraded bands for my family. Does anyone know if you can choose a band, leave it as “complete” and then add one by one until all the bands are available? I was told by a CM on the phone that once you choose a band it’s shipped right away. But there was no option to checkout after I selected my band and didnt select for the rest of my family. I’m totally confused. TIA

All the bands have to be chosen before you can checkout. Holding the band in your cart does not guarantee that it will stay in stock. It will only be official once you checkout and get the confirmation.

Most likely, the next time you go to your cart the band won’t even be there as once it is “unavailable”, it will go back to empty.

Ugh. I guess my official stalking of magic bands will start now. Not going until May 2020 so hopefully it works out. Thanks for the info!

Some new “pre-arrival” bands popped up this morning that appear to be available and in stock. Saw a Descendants and Vampirina band, among others. They were $15 so still a discount, but less of a discount than the typical $10 price for the bands that are never actually in stock.
