Magic Band/Gift card questions.

I'm asking these questions for a friend.
1.Can gift cards be connected to your MB so that you don't have to carry around the cards?
2.Are there any gift shops that don't accept gift cards?
3. If a credit card or gift cards are attached to your magic bands can anyone in your party use your credit cards/access the gift cards (she has 2 kids with $125 worth of gift cards and she doesn't want them accidentally using each other's money)

1. No. You can charge to your room (credit card on file) and pay with gift cards at the front desk if you want. Charges will post when you get to a threshold like $500. Ask and they can tell you.
2. Not many. Mostly specialty shops. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Since you can charge everything back to the room with your bands using the pin you will set up, you won't directly be using the gift cards, so you or the kids can keep track of how much they are spending till they hit the limit they have in gift card money. Make sure you ask for the charges the night before check out so that you can pay it off with the gift cards first, and whatever other forms of payment you want. If you wait till the morning of your check out day, they will have automatically charged whatever credit card you have on file for the trip.

I would check up on the charges, and put the GCs towards the charges, throughout the stay.

We just use the gift cards too. It's not quite the same as paper money but there's a finite amount on it. I wouldn't like my kids getting the idea that with a wave of their wrist, whatever they want can be theirs, lol. She was just hoping not to have to carry in and keep track of multiple cards
