Hi All,
We are headed down to WDW next month. We were there last year so already have a set of magic bands. However, our youngest is now three, and therefore, I'll be booking fast pass+ for her for the first time (we're staying offsite this time so booking window hasn't opened). My question is, will the magic band for her link fine for her just like I'm assuming it will for the rest of the family? Just wasn't sure if since it was initially issued for an under three guest if any of the "inner workings" might be different. Hope this makes sense!:)
Thanks!!!

Yes.

All issued MBs are the same, internally.

Imagine how disappointed a 3-year-old would be if her MagicBand™ didn't make Mickey's head turn green...

Her Magic Band will be the same as all of the others. One thing is she will probably not be required to do the biometric finger scan at the gate. If she is going to wear it though, one thing I would think about is securing the band to her some kind of way. You don't want it to fall or have her take it off and the band get lost. I'm thinking of something like a lanyard attached to the band and safety pinned to her shirt just in case. I had a three year old that we could barely keep clothes and shoes on much less something like bracelet. Cheers and have a great trip!!!

Definitely think of a way to secure it. Our 2 year old insisted on wearing her MB last year because she saw everyone else wearing it. Of course, she lost it somewhere on the resort grounds. Not a big deal because she was two and had no tickets attached to it. We just went to guest services and had it deactivated. I'm not sure what we will do this year when we go. She is going to want to wear it around her wrist, but I am afraid she will lose it.
