Magic Band/ Fast Pass Question

If i Purchase a 2 day ticket to the park, can i purchase a magic band to link it to and be able to make fast passes?

yes. But you don't need a magic band to make fast passes. You can link the ticket to your account and be able to make fast passes

Thanks. I figured I don't need the band to make fast passes but my thoughts were that it might be good to have it just in case my phone dies!

You can use the physical ticket at the FP tapstiles - works just same as a magicband. I.e. Even with a magicband you need a phone (or computer, or I device - something on wifi) to make or change fastpasses.

Disney has expended far too little effort in explaining the MBs actual role in WDW visits.
