Magic band charge

Not sure which forum to put this in. I have my emailed MB bill and my credit card statement (while still pending) shows about double the amount. Does anyone know why this might be?

I was also charged $30 for a missed reservation fee - but we double checked, on both our apps and MDE, and we definitly canceled it. Any ideas of how to fix this?

There is really nothing you can do about the cc charge until it is no longer pending and an actual charge goes through.

When did you cancel the reservation? If it was day-of, you would be charged a fee. If it was at least the day prior, then you should call or e-mail to see if they will remove the charge. You could try calling (407) 939-6104 or filling out this form (I've always gotten a response when filling this out): https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/help/email/

As for the missed fee, you can email or call and ask. Did you cancel it within the proper time frame?

Thanks, I ended up finding that after googling. Things changed a lot since we last went - and clearly I didn't read anything official from Disney (I'm assuming I accepted this and didn't fully read it). I'll feel better once my card is cleared. Because of the exchange rate its also hard to track - so I'll just keep watching it.

The missed fee was Sanaa - we asked if we could just to take out (we were staying at Kidnai) as our daughter was tired, and not loose the $, and they said it was fine. I'll reach out. Everything else we cancelled well in advance (before we arrive in Florida).
