Magic band and pictures

ok, we have magic bands, but not the memory maker. Will our ride pictures be uploaded on our photo pass site? I don't want memory maker, but I might want a picture or 2 later. I'm just wondering if the ride pics will be an option after our trip or should I buy them at the park if I like them. Thanks!

Yes they'll be there. Since you don't have memory maker or AP's then the photos will have water marks

when you get off the ride be sure to scan your magic band when you view your photo and they should show on your MDE

If you have a MB on there's no need to scan anything after a ride. It's automatically uploaded to your MDE. If using a plastic card instead of a MB, then you'll need to scan

funny, sometimes if we do not scan we have no picture..... better safe than sorry

Are you using old magic bands? Possibly dealing with dead long range rfid. You shouldn't have to scan your magic band anywhere for ride photos. Some rides don't even have scan points.

I'd recommend getting new MB's. I've never had any issue with pics showing up

the one that is a 50/50 crapshoot is 7 dwarfs. And last time was with a new MB (passholder)

And that's the only one that doesn't have the option to manually scan your band to link the photo/video to your PhotoPass account.

If you think you might be getting photos, it is really worth it to just purchase memory maker
