Magic Band and one day ticket

Hi fellow members-hoping someone can help me with a quick question. Was at Disney in Feb and received the magic bands. We were there on a package. Next week we are going to st Pete beach and decided to take a quick trip over to orlando for a day. Once I buy the tix online at disney will I on be able to use the magic bands for the new tickets? Plan would be to link them and then schedule our fast passes. Any help would be appreciated. Not sure if we have to use the tickets purchased while at disney or if we can take the magic bands and use those instead for fast passes. Thank you for the help

Yes, you can use your magic bands as long as they are linked in your account.

In relation to OP's question; I just booked new package (tickets & hotel) and have a previous MB still linked to my account. Will all my new stuff be linked to the band from last year plus the new one I'll receive?

Could I wear one one day and change the other day? In case I wanted to interchange between the two colours (old one red, new one will be orange) or will the data only be linked to one?

Information will be linked on all the bands you have and you can swap as often as you wish.

When you check in to your resort, make sure you specify to the cast member that you want to be able to use both bands and they can check to be sure they have the same set-up. I "think" they have to do that so your first band will work to open your door?
