OH MY GOODNESS! The price of a house call I guess. WOW.

I confess to never going with the travel insurance...I might rethink that.

Well, that was for both. So, it was around $400 for each! If it hadn't been for the fact that DH was off on the Keys to the Kingdom tour we would have taken them to the walk in urgent care place! I'm sure that's a lot cheaper!

I was so happy travel insurance paid for it! $800 oop in the middle of vacation was shoot in the pocket book!

Poor babies.

It's nice to hear of your good experience with the help from concierge and the doctor.

So glad the boys got better quickly!

It really was a bad situation turned good! Of course, I hope to never have the experience again and I hope no else does either!

I'm so excited that it's getting so close! I woke up this morning and thought "a month from now I'll probably be sitting on the balcony at BLT having coffee!!!"

Oh those poor boys - and poor you!! So you had to pay $800 OOP and then travel insurance covered it later with a check back to you? I've never gotten travel insurance, but this really makes me re-think it! Wowsers, that's EXPENSIVE, even $400 for one!!! But, I'm so glad to read that the doctor was great and they boys were quickly feeling better.

It was no fun to have sick kiddos! DH and I did Keys when we went in March of 09! It's so much fun and you learn so much! I highly recommend it!

We have a one bedroom! 3 nights lake view, I requested an even number room on the north side of the building. According to the BLT rooms thread those are the rooms that have both an MK and lake view. If we don't get it I'm ok with it! The last 3 nights are a one bedroom MK view room! Ahhh! I'm hoping to give the watching Wishes from the Jacuzzi tub thing a try!

The sick kiddos where back in 08! It was part of my explanation of why I've never seen Fantasmic! One of these days I'll see it!

I must say, when he told me how much it was I got briefly lightheaded! I'm really glad took the credit card on that trip I kinda feel like it was worth it though! He was fabulous and DH and I still talk about the fact that they got better so quickly! We say maybe there was a little pixie dust in that medicine!

That's what we had - the combined MK/lake view room and it was fabulous. So much to see in every direction! The balconies are really good size. Nicest balcony ever!

No, it's not a little birdie I hear! It's the tweaking of the trip I hear!

Come on! You knew I was going to do it!

I've tweaked a few things!

First, well let me start by saying our ME tags arrived last week! Actually we got 3 different envelops! One with AKV tags , one with BLT tags and one with our departure info in it! Well, we probably won't need any of the tags! Because I booked a town car!

Why? Why with ME and it being free and all?! Well, in all honesty, ME kinda stresses my out a little. I know it's fun and I know you get to watch the cool video and all. But, last October we waited forever for a darn bus! I hated that! It didn't seem like a pleasant way to start the trip! Not to mention the Contemporary is the last stop on that leg of ME I think! I just want to get there! In a nice, peaceful, non-crowded, semi-waitless manor! I have, a few times, thought about cancelling it! But, for now, I'm keeping it!

Tweak two! The evening of romance! I tweaked one thing! I was going to have a special guest visit us. But, I decided against it! The visit was going to cost A LOT and I wasn't really seeing the wow factor there for DH! With DH I think it would have been more of a why factor! So why spend the $?! Now, if it had been DH planning for me I would have fallen over myself to have 30 minutes of time alone with my very favorite Disney icon. But, for now we'll skip it and maybe another time, if I choose to do a crazy fun day for the family we'll go that way

Tweak three! Cancelling and adr and making two new ones! We were supposed to have dinner at Chef Mickey's on arrival day but I'm not sure what we're going to be feeling like at that point! I know that we always arrive hungry so! So Chef Mickey's dinner has been cancelled and replaced with a Plaza Restaurant lunch!

I also took the opportunity of a new restaurant opening in Epcot and the fact that DH and I have a new found thing about Mexican food to make an ADR at La Hacienda de San Angel! It looks beautiful and the menu looks yummy! Our ADR is for 7:45 so I'm hoping to see Illuminations from the restaurant!

Tweak four! Relaxation for me! If you haven't figured it out already I'm keen on indulging a little from time to time! I'm also a big fan of the spa and an even bigger fan of the spa at GF! Heaven in the middle of WDW! There is no other way to describe it!

Anyway, I now have a massage and facial scheduled for the morning of our rest day! I'm so looking forward to this!!! It should be fabulously relaxing!

I *think* I maybe done tweaking! I can't imagine what more I can tweak! With just 27 days to go I think I have everything just about perfect! Phew!

I'm determined to get this done before DH and I leave in few weeks!!!!

So here goes!

Our last full day dawned with visions of a morning in DHS dancing in our heads!

We all got ready quickly and were out the door before we knew it! Breakfast plans were to eat breakfast at DHS so we could get some stuff done that we wanted to do again or hadn't done at all!

We were soon entering the park just after opening! We headed the same direction at the day before! TSM!

Again, it worked in our favor and the wait was even less then the day before! We waited maybe 10 minutes! Woo hoo!



Mr Potato Head had taken his ear out like he does, but he had dropped it on the floor! Opps! We told the CM by the glasses so someone could go help the poor spud!

We were soon spinning through scenes of Toy Story! I love this ride but I wish it wasn't so jerky!

after TSM we decided it was time for some breakfast! So we headed toward Starring Rolls! Yeah, us and everyone else in the park! There was no this was going to work for us! Luckily, I knew that the stand back toward TOT and RNRC served breakfast! So we decided to head that way!

We all looked at the menu and decided what we wanted and then Jen and I *tried* to order. The CM who was *trying* to take our order was having a seriously difficult time! Seriously! I'm not sure if it was his first day or maybe he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed but it was awful! It took a full 30 minutes or more to order and actually get the order right! I think even then some of the order was wrong! It wasn't like we ordered anything to complicated! A few cinnamon rolls (not as good as Main Street Bakery or Starring Rolls) some cereal, a little fruit, coffee and drinks! UGH!

After breakfast it was time to split up! BIL and Julianna wanted to ride RnRC again, Justin wanted to see Voyage of the Little Mermaid so Jen went with him and Me, DH, the three kiddos and Jess had 2 stops to make!

First, and most important in my book, was to meet 2 wonderful disers!



Jen (jenjolt) and Leslie (Lady Lallie)! Can I tell you how excited and a little nervous I was to meet them?!

This was my first real Dis meet!!! I meet friends from a different board that I don't participate in anymore once, but I don't count that!

We chatted for a bit and Ryan really enjoyed flirting with them! In hindsight I should have planned to spend a lot more time with them! Our meeting was much, much to brief!

But, they had plans and so did we so we were off!

The kiddos really wanted to play in the Honey I shrunk the Kids playground so we headed there!















In October of 09 Ryan loved running around the playground like a wild child even though it was 9 million degrees in there! In January when it was pleasantly not to warm but not freezing cold in there he was content to stand in a little hill and run down it! Over and over and over again!





After some good play time it was time to head back toward the front of the park to meet up with the rest of the family!

On the way I took a second to take a picture of this...



That, behind a squinting DS, is the very DVC kiosk where our DVC journey began!

We soon met the rest of the family at the big hat and headed to the bus stop with MK as our destination!

I have always lucked out with ME and never really had any issues....other than having to leave way to early with the Magical Depress. I got my tags last week too! I just mailed them to my two friends that are meeting me there.

Yes, the special character was supposed to be Mickey! But, the cost doesn't seem to justify the means to me! Ya know what I mean?! If DH was going to be super excited about it I may do it but he's not going to be and we can see Mickey in the park! I'd rather save the $$, that more then pays for the spa! It pays for shopping at DTD after the spa too!

I think this will be final! I have a lot to do over the next few weeks and I'm not sure I'll have time to think about it! Of course, I'm starting to stress about clothes! It was soooo darn hot last Oct! It was a heat wave and the temps almost the whole week we were there were records but I keep thinking I should plan on taking a few tank tops and stuff like that. But, I don't have any I really like and I can't find any!

I'm ok with ME for December and May I think. March I may get a car again just because it's such a limited time and I know DD is going to be freaking out! I think that the car is a good way for DH and I to go to start the trip off in a relaxing way!

I highly recommend the spa! I LOVE it! That day is actually the day we go to MSSHP too! I think it will be nice to be all massaged and relaxed before we party!

Great picture of your meet!!

I have never been over to that area of DHS but it always looks so cute and a fun place for kids to play

I love Starring Rolls but agree the layout is a bit of a pain

My DVC kiosk was in DTD....I knew I was going to do it on the trip (had done a lot of research here ) so when I was there I just knew right then it was the right time A quick golf cart ride over to SSR, some more koolaid and I left owning at AKV

I keep forgetting to ask you....when were you there last October? I was there I think from the 2-9th.....It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot!!!
