Magic as Wide as a smile!10/28 Trip Report Link!!!!

And here we are again! Ahhh, the countdown continues!

Today, as was mentioned earlier is....

Ahhh! 2 months, officially! 2 months from now DH and I will either be in MK watching the Main Street Electric Parade, have I mentioned how excited I am about MSEP?!, or in our room resting after getting up at like 4:30 am to get to the airport!

Yipppppeeeeee!!!!! :banana::cool1::dance3:

Moving on with more PTR news, the Kidani secret is out! I would have kept it until the end BUT DH was hinting that he was planning a surprise too! my DH! He doesn't do surprises! He wanted to know what we were doing everyday! Hmmmmm! I figured I'd give up my secret because I was completely surprised he was planning a surprise! I wanted to make sure there wasn't a conflict or anything. So I told him! He was very happy!

The other day he comes into the kitchen and tells me with a sad face that his surprise isn't going to happen because it cost $4000! :scared1: Say WHAT?! What the heck kind of surprise is this?! Was he booking the concierges level, MK view suite at GF?!

Turns out my DH. My no surprises, no frills, very little romance DH wanted to surprise me by getting our marriage vows renewed at WDW! :lovestruc

WOW! I was momentarily speechless and then I cried! I can't even believe that he thought of that! MY DH!!!!

But the cheapest package they had was $4000, I'm not really sure what it included but for $4000 I want to ride in Cinderella's coach!

His surprise was WAY better then mine! :rotfl2: Even not doing it the thought is enough :lovestruc:love:

So I'm trying to figure out something uber romantic to kind of make up for it. I want to surprise him in return for his thought!

Any thoughts?! Our 2 romantic dinners are Narcoosses and Artist Point. Our Narcoosses ADR is for 5:30, Wishes that night is at 9. I'm thinking about going to Poly beach and out to the point where they have the wedding after dinner to watch Wishes. Maybe we can write our own little renewal thing and fudge it!

I'm also thinking of like a Wishes cruise or something. Do they have one that we can do, just the 2 of us?! I have some research to do!!! Any ideas are welcome!!!!!

I can't even get over the fact that MY DH was going to do that!!!! :lovestruc:love: I love him, he's a keeper :cloud9:

continued next post...

Anyway, moving on from the mussy stuff! As this trip fast approaches I, of course, am getting my bags, shoes and clothes ready :cutie:

So here goes!

First the bags!!!

The DVC bag will be our carry on!

This

is my park bag! I love this bag! I got it on ebay before our 09 alone trip for $15! I LOVE it! I got so many complements on it on that trip! It's great because it's big enough to hold the stuff I need and it goes cross-body! Perfect!

this

will go in the park bag with all the little necessities I carry!

Like these

minus the Downy wrinkle releaser, that will stay in the room!

Next, shoes! Oh how I love the!

I recently got these babies

I love me some teva mush! I also have pink ones and black ones! The black ones will definitely go, the pink ones I haven't decided on. I also have one or 2 other pairs of flip flops I haven't decided on either!

I'll definitely pack my sneakers and I have to try to find a dressier pair of sandals! I can't wear the ones I wore last time, they hurt too much! I wish I had thought of this a few months ago when sandals were actually out in the store!

I also have these

I made them! I'm not sure how long I'm going to be able to wear them without them getting uncomfortable! We'll have to see!

Moving onto clothes!

First the fancier ones!

This will be my top for Narcoossees, with a nice pair of black capris and the dressy sandal I don't own yet!

I love this top! I bought it for an event I didn't get to go to and have been dying to wear it! It's very me!

This will be my Artist point top, with same capris and dress sandals I don't own yet ;)

Now park clothes! I have amassed quite a little collection of stuff over our trips!

My traditional first day top,

It really needs to be ironed! :lmao:

a shirt perhaps for AK day,

a new shirt from the disney store,

a shirt I got last trip and made it's debut while meeting another diser who had the same shirt on! We disers have good taste!

my favorite hoodie, the back,

The front and arm

I also have 2 other shirts I'd love to wear but I'm not sure where or when! They're not disney shirts but I love them both!

Now, to go along with the clothes, STUFF!

We really don't need a lot of stuff because we have a lot in the owners locker. I do want to change a few things out because that stuff has been in there since January. Not to mention we're going to need more for December!

So, this is the stuff,

I still need a few things. Like razors etc but nothing to much!

That's it for now! Be back soon with more!

Awwww, how sweet of your husband!! Marc keeps telling me we'll renew our vows at Disney someday...but honestly after all of our wedding drama I don't want anything to do with that. :rotfl2:

I know who that DISer was with the same shirt!!!

I love your park bag, very cute.

Does that wrinkle release stuff work?? I'm worried about my shirts being all wrinkled.

I hear people talk about the teva mush all the time. Are they really comfortable? I am thinking about a black pair. I am tired of only wearing my crocs because they really look bad with some of my clothes. I haven't fond a comfortable of black sandals yet, although the pair I have right now aren't too bad.

Love all your packing stuff. I should drag out the suitcase this weekend and start ironing, but I am going through a phase where I hate all my clothes. I did buy a cute sundress for my OBX trip. Its very casual, so I think I will take that for one of our dinners. that's why I need a black flip flop.

I think it is so romantic that your DH wanted to renew your vows at Disney. I am wondering - would it be possible to find a place close by (like Celebration for example) where you could do a renewal ceremony and then plan a romantic evening. You will have a car, so you can travel. And I think if your DH wants to renew his vows you should make that happen. It's pretty special.

Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!!!!! That is INCREDIBLY romantic!!!!!!! So sweet!!!!

I really like the idea of the "impromptu wedding vows" after Narcoosses! I can picture watching Wishes from there, just after you said "I do!" again! :cloud9: Very, very romantic.

I think that yes, you can do a Wishes cruise with as many, or as few, people as you would like. It's price based on the boat, so it might be pretty expensive, but I can't imagine it being $4,000!

I like your "necessities" bag - I think I remember you showing it before too...where did you get it again? Your handmade flip flops are adorable too! Great idea! I love all your shirts - especially your new orange one!!

Isn't it so fun to pull that stuff out and get organized knowing your trip is right around the corner? :hyper:

I'm a fan too! I found that if I walk for a long time, while walking quickly the entire time, they aren't great - I need the ankle support. But, if I'm doing more leisurely walking - like at Disney - they are awesome. :thumbsup2

What a nice thought your husband had. Too bad it is so expensive. It looks like you are getting close to being ready for your trip. I hope it is a great one.

I still can't get over it that he was going to do that!!! So sweet! I know what you mean about wedding drama! He wanted something that was just him and I, not a whole shindig!

:lmao: I know you know about the shirt!

I love that bag! When I first started planning the trip I couldn't find it and was so upset! Luckily, as soon as I stopped looking I found it! :goodvibes

I like the wrinkle releaser! I've had pretty good success with it! The thing is you have to actually spray the item so it gets wet. It's not a last minute thing. You can do it the night before you want to wear something. It's also got a really strong smell when you first spray it!

I love my mushies! They're super comfy! I've never had them hurt my feet! I ordered dressy flip flops today and I'll take my mushies too in case I need to change my shoes!

I hate that phase! I do that too! I think you should go shopping!

:lovestruc I still can't believe he wanted to do that! I looked into it and apparently you can do it at Swan and Dolphin but it still a big thing with a little reception! That's not what he was going for! I did plan something uber romantic that I think he'll love today! That will be in my next update! ;)

:lovestruc I'm still completely shocked that he was going to do that! What a wonderful DH he is! I've been giving it a lot of thought and I planned something uber romantic today! Something I think he's going to love! It will be in my next update!

The little bag with the pookaloza (not sure that's how you spell it!) I got in the toy store for a few $$! Isn't it cute! I couldn't resist!

I'm getting so excited now, especially with the plans I made today! I don't think I'm going to last 2 months! :hyper:

:thumbsup2 completely, 100% agree!

Oh Melissa! Here I am popcorning you to hurry up and then I miss your update. I teared up reading what your DH wanted to do, that is so flippin romantic! I love your suggestion and the same thought came to my mind about doing your own thing.

Have you thought about calling Disney and asking for a suggestion from them? Maybe at one of your ADRs they could do something special for you. :confused3

Oh I just read that you've planned something.... can't wait to find out! :yay:

Thanks for joining in! I love new readers!

New update coming tonight!

Sooooo, you guys know I wanted to figure out surprise for DH in return for the wonderful, romantic sentiment of him wanting us to have our vows renewed during our trip.

I thought about, I went back and forth, I research, I thought some more and researched some more.

I finally came to a decision! One I think DH is going to be thrilled with and one I think will make for a night we'll never forget!

We will be going out on this baby...

Yes, that's right! I booked the Grand One! Gulp :upsidedow

It was not a cheap proposition. In fact, it cost over $700 for the 1 1/2 hours I booked :scared1::eek: BUT, in the scheme of $4000 for the vow renewal its a drop in the bucket! :lmao:

I'm hoping to keep the price a secret from DH! He might have a heart attack!

I also mentioned awhile back about me putting money aside for the trip without DH knowing it! :rolleyes1 I put all the money I make selling stuff on ebay and etsy (DH knows I've been saving that money as disney money) aside as well as other money that I sneak away every week! I have amassed quite a little fortune of my own to date :woohoo: and I think this is the perfect way to spend some of it!

I had to change some ADR's around because the night I originally wanted, Oct 20th, was taken. October 22nd we will be dining at Narcossee's and at 8:30 we will be meeting the Captain of the Grand One on the dock at GF! We should depart around 9! :lovestruc:love:

Wishes will actually be Hallowishes at 9:30! I would have preferred regular Wishes, but I'm ok with Hallowishes!

I still have to decide on private dining for the cruise. I'm going to get desserts. I'll probably get some champagne and some beer (DH will only sip a tiny bit of champagne)

I think DH is going to love it!!!

I still want to come up with something so we can do our own little vow renewal thing. I'm actually thinking we can walk out by the wedding pavilion after dinner (our ADR is at 5:30) and do it there before the cruise. I'd also like to get DH some sort of gift for the evening. I'm not sure what to get though! He's not jewelry guy. So I'm still thinking that through!

I'm super excited!!!

Moving on....

Another surprise!!!

I'm all full of surprises today! :lmao:

DD will be turning 10 in March!:sad1::rolleyes:

I can't even believe that she'll be 10! Where did the last 10 years go?! I'm not sure!!!

Anyway, she's hinted numerous time, an actually outright told me, that she'd like to go to WDW for her birthday.

She's also mentioned numerous time that she'd like for her and I to go alone at some point.

So, guess what we're doing?!

Her and I are going to WDW in March for her b-day!

The thing about planning the trip was that we don't really have that many points left in our 2011 DVC use year left! I borrowed a lot of points for trip with DH's family in Dec. We weren't planning on going back to WDW after December until December of 2011 or January of 2012, or even later. I'd like to bank the 2011 points in case we decide to take anyone with us in late 2011 or early 2012!

I ran the cost by DH and proposed it to him as DD's birthday present! He was actually ok with it! :cool1:

I didn't tell him, but in my disney coffer I have almost enough after the grand 1 to cover the cost and I plan to save the rest!

DD's dream resort it the Polynesian! So I booked it!

March 9th - 13th, 4 nights, garden view at Poly!

Of course, our travel dates are within the blackout dates for free dining :headache: but the CM who booked the trip told me to keep checking for AP discounts because they will more then likely come and will more then likely be a better deal then free dining anyway!

I don't plan on telling DD! DH has been sworn to secrecy and threatened with his life if he lets it slip!

Her actual birthday is the 9th so I plan on waking her up that morning and telling her to get up and get ready because I have a surprise for her! I know she'll figure it out when we get to the airport! But she's going to flip out from excitement!

I'm not going to do a ticker because princess nosy pants is always looking over my shoulder! She'll see it and want to know what it's for! So, I'll be posting little picture tickers of my own every so often!

The first one...

Love your plans for October. How sweet is your DH to look into vow renewal? And I can't wait to hear about your Grand One experience!!

December also sounds fun.

As does March with your daughter!

Lots of fun stuff you have on the horizon!! :goodvibes

No matter where you've been you're always welcome and I'm super glad you're here!

I was so stinken cold in January! When I called to make the reservation for March yesterday the CM was talking about the crazy winter in FL! I told her I experienced it first hand! :lmao: No matter what we still had a fabulous time :goodvibes

I really can't wait for October! It's been such a crazy summer we need a break! It will be so much fun! I can't wait for the Grand One!

I'm also really looking forward to both the December and March trips! It's going to be a lot of fun!

Ahhh, take me with you! Your dates in March cover my birthday (the 12th!!) and you are staying at one of my all-time favorite resorts! Super jealous! What an amazing surprise. :goodvibes

WOW! Two amazing surprises!!! I already can't wait for your TRs. :rotfl: I've read one other report where they booked the Grand 1 and did desserts on the boat - it was spectacular! I'm so excited for you!!!!

And the Poly. :cloud9: Do you think your DD will figure out the Poly part too when you get to the airport? Perhaps you could somehow get her to think you are staying somewhere else until you get to ME? I just love the idea of a Mom & Daughter trip too, you are going to have some wonderful memories made with her!
