Hi everyone! I haven't completely abandon you again! Promise! Summer has kicked into high gear and I ended up pretty much bed ridden with the worst sinus infection ever! I haven't had a chance to get on and post responses or think about another about update! I'll be back on it in a jiffy though! We're closing in on 100 days until our Oct trip!

108 Days!

It's getting closer and closer and I'm so excited!!!

So sorry about the load being dumped on you with the yacht club celebration; hang in there!

That stinks that you didn't get to ride EE and have to wait until December. Yay for fitting in both shows, though!

Sounds like you had a really relaxing afternoon in the villa and then a great dinner! Sorry your DH wasn't able to enjoy it.

It's been busy and interesting around here that's for sure! That's why I'm so excited for this trip in Oct! We're going to need it!

I'm still bummed we didn't get to ride EE! Booo! I'm sure hoping we can in Dec! I was definitely happy to get in both shows! I love both of them so much I wanted everyone to see them!

We had a great afternoon and evening! It was nice to relax and take in the beauty of Kidani and then enjoy a great dinner nearby!

I hope your DHs stomach condition improves...I've been there at Disney.

A nice, relaxing meal at AP sounds ! We did the same on our Disneymoon and I remember it as a highlight of our trip!

DH has a crazy stomach! Poor guy! I feel bad for him! I'm trying to look into what we can do before our next trip to make it better for him!

I'm excited about AP! It will be a lovely evening!

Boma was lovely! I love the atmosphere and I love to try different food that we wouldn't eat at home!

I'm so excited about the trip in Oct! It's fast approaching (at least I like to think it is ) so more details will be coming up soon!

I'm back!

I'm so sorry that I've been away for so long! It's been insanely busy around here and I just haven't had a second to get on Dis! I've had so much to do and so little time to do it and things keep throwing a kink in my plans!

Last weekend I was so, so sick! I haven't been that sick in a long time! Saturday and Sunday I couldn't lift my head off the pillow and I was running a 102 temp!!! Luckily of DR is open on Sat and I was able to go get antibotics!

I was still in the process of finishing up the book and other stuff for the yacht club so that really messed up my plans!

Tuesday evening I was trying to make dinner and turned the oven on. I went on about my business in the kitchen when I realized the oven didn't seem to be warm and the kitchen kinda smelled like gas! Dinner plans changed, repairmen were called!

The repairman came Thursday and it turns out that both ignitors in the oven went bad! Really?! He told DH it would be more cost effective for usto go out and buy a new oven! UGH! But, that's what we did! So, Thursday night was spent oven shopping! Fun, fun, fun! It came yesterday! Actually it came last night! The delivery guy didn't get here until after 8 pm! He was training a new helper who decided 1/2 way through the day he didn't like the job and stopped helping! But at least we got the oven and we thanked the guy tons and gave him a big tip!

Friday night DH and I had wedding to go to which was very nice and a lot of fun! But Friday morning I realized I couldn't find the shoes that matched the dress I wanted to wear! So I had to go try to buy shoes! I ended up with new shoes and a new dress but it all worked out in the end!!!

Yesterday was spent finishing the book for the yacht club, thank god! I just need 1 more thing from one other person and I think I'll be set! Then I have to send it out to a printer that can get it back to me by the end of the week! I really wish this had worked out the way it was supposed to and the guy who was supposed to do the sponsorships had done it and the book was printed and done already! UGH!

Today is a fabulous day!! Yes indeed!!! FAB-U-LOUS!!!!

You wanna know why?!












Yes, I'm dancing around the house and probably the neighborhood today!!!



Tomorrow my parents are coming for a few days which will be fun! My Dad, DH, FIL and a few other guys are going out on a charter fishing boat on Tuesday and the kiddos myself and my Mom will head shopping!

Today I'm hoping to relax a bit! My house is an utter disaster area but I don't really care right now! I need to chill out a little today! My parents will get over the mess! If they don't like it they can clean it!

I'm hoping to have a more relaxing week before the craziness starts again next weekend when the North American regatta starts at the yacht club! I'll be back during the week with a TR update!​

Sooooo darn busy!!! UGH! That's why I'm really, really looking forward to this trip in October! Being sick really put a kink in works too! Luckily the antibiotics took effect quickly!


sometimes it's hard to know how my Mom will react to a giant mess, I know it's not as bad as I think it is but it stresses me out!

I'm soooooo excited!!!!!!!!

I KNOW!! Did you see my facebook post with the thermometer in my car? It was 101 degrees!!! Normally it doesn't get nearly as hot out here on the East End as it does in the city. Usually it's around 5 or 10 degrees cooler. But over the past week or so it hasn't been! It's actually been hotter from what I hear! I Aren't you glad you moved to NY just in time for a terribly hot summer?!

I felt so bad for my Mom, touring around the City in this weather. But she still enjoyed herself, and she loves heat - she's planning on moving to FL in 5 years after she retires!

Rest?! I know of no such thing! I do know of coffee, soda and other caffeinated beverages though! I also know of falling asleep before my head hits the pillow in the wee hours of the morning!

Next week will probably be the busiest and then it will get better after that for a few weeks before it gets totally crazy again! Then it should get better before school starts!

I can't take the heat! The wedding we went to Friday night was partially outside! It was brutal for awhile!

I'm with ya! We were on top of the Empire State building the day it was 99 here and it was even hotter up there. I was dripping. Poor Henry was miserable too. It was great to be up there, and see the beautiful view, but we didn't stay out there too long!

It was yucky in Manhattan. Everything felt sticky (ier than usual! ). It was a relief to be on the trains since they are air conditioned. We just wanted to ride them all day long!

I am going to brave June 2012 for Jordan's Peep Fest meet. I think that is as close to summer as we'll ever get. August? Forget about it! Maybe the beach, but not WDW! (I have a feeling I'll be eating my words someday...! )

Thanks! I really has been crazy but things will be winding down some what! The regatta in next week and mostly everything is done except for the last minute details and cooking! We have to feed these sailors! Luckily the one thing our club isn't short on is good cooks and cooks who are willing to cook!
