Then we walk to Fantasy land...........BA swears she's never ridden Dumbo (not true---but not recently!), and the line is only 15 min, so her and Daran climb aboard....

Okay, you got lucky that time.

TE.. I believe they stopped the "Sword in the Stone" show 2 maybe even 3 years ago. Shame we missed it. I think it ran only the first year we went.

The girls got to be in it when they were little---it was kinda cute, not overwhelming or anything tho!

Yep! Remember HS told me to bring lots of clothes, so I kept making him carry them around! His back was so sore by Tues tho that I had to drive a lot of the way back tho.

Breakfast?? some danishes, I think........we asked what was considered a snack and got 3.......we should have done this everyday, really as we had so many snack credits.

Hey! I've had a tough week!
I'll try to catch it up this week--I'm on the last day!

Wow---have u people been riding Spaceship Earth for a month?? I thought Jo was taking everyone over to Test Track?? Oh well, welcome back! Did u like the little computer thingie at the end?? You FELL ASLEEP?? Geesh! That's like a billion dollar (million pound) renovation!


So.........after the extended ride on SE............we decided to shop a bit..............

and of course see the troll.........

Then, we had a 5 pm ressie at Les Chefs.........we've eaten here before and really liked it......and Ab had been excited about ordering in French (due to her "fluency" from taking French I )...........but when we got the menu....she just pointed!

I have absolutely no idea what I ordered! But I remember it was good.........and I took pics of the most important part:

These were very tasty desserts!

After dinner, we went to Japan and BA bought this:

She thought she looked "way cooler" than a princess......and was greeted by cries of "mommy--I wanna Mulan dress too!" Two Japanese girls got very excited to see her and wanted to know where she got the kimono! BTW--the "trying on" of the kimonos is lots of fun!

Then we took a boat ride over to DHS.........this is the first time we'd done this......and Daran said "wow.......Boardwalk looks great.....remember that for next time!" (I wonder if he remembers saying that NOW!)

Since we had seen Fantasmic the nite before, we opted to do the movie ride thing (and BA thought she looked extra special in the kimono there!).........then we did the Cartoon thing........I loved drawing Donald.........BA did not.......she kept trying to erase the lines..........then she got really frustrated and threw it away!
I'd show you my masterpiece, worthy of framing, if I could find it........

At last it was time to leave: (note the Big Yellow Backpack!)

We had done 3 parks this day and were beat.......plus had to get up and drive in the morning back to VA (of course, after we got our van re started!)

Overall--

Value Season---great! Less crowds, great weather, cheaper!

POR-Riverside--good! would stay again--rooms are a little small for a big family, but we weren't there much! Loved the surroundings! Gotta hoof it a lot tho.

Dining Plan--Great! Would do it again! Saved money and put less stress on my family about ordering "expensive" things!

Family--getting hard to do with teens---she did much better at the beach with a friend and her own schedule. I think ya gotta just let them do their own thing... and a solo trip would be GREAT too! (or a Focker trip!)
