Boy, that was a long wait for the monorail

"ladies and gentleman.........please direct your attention outside to the famous CALIFORNIA GRILL SUNSET"

We watched the horizon and counted 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.......it set that fast and it was beautiful. This is all I could catch on my camera:

I need to find a great Narcoossees review quick as I was undecided between that and CG and now I'm wondering if I made the right choice!

We have eaten at Narcoosees too a few times and really like it alot.They have some great veggie options for me .They are very accomodating with making things to suit us.We have only eaten there 1 time with the boys(to much fish on there for the allergies) and they really liked it to. They made Happy a filet and creamed potatoes(mashed) and he LOVED it. I think if you have 2 TS avail give it a try.Great atmosphere too. I think I may like it a little bit better than CG. BUT thats JMHO.
AND the boys liked "eating on the water" (being sorrounded by water)

Hey I like that update. Never been to the Cali Grill but I heard something about it going away or redone??? If it is there next time I think we will give it a try. I luv steak. Not much for raw food. Like my meat & taters. Luv the sunset. I thought you could view the wishes from their?

After careful consesus, they want to ride the forbidden elevator at the Contemporary. Really they do but I told them no.

(tip of the day--book the 5:30 earliest seating, and there's a good shot you'll get a window seat).

They really did this? That is even cooler!

Overall---we all really enjoyed this meal! The food, atmosphere, and service were great, and we'll do it again........on the DDP!

Wow--we didn't see the wine room--probably just as well--Daran would have never left!

Yes, it would have been a good view--we could see the beginning fireworks from the P&P party clearly. And it was a clear, nice night too!

The wine room is in the back with great views of of the rest of the park (Epcot and such). However, the views where you were are the best.

well you did it. you convinced to me to go. I canceled Rose & Crown and will leave Epcot and go there to eat. we have 7:30 so hopefully we will get a good table for the fireworks.

I am SO glad you guys got to experience the CG Sunset - isn't it amazing? This from a person who regularly watches the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico. Truly, watching it from the CG is one of my most favorite WDW memories.

Yes, the sunset WAS beautiful. (I watch it set over the Blue Ridge mountains each nite--I'll try to get a shot of that one evening for you too! )

And no, the Goat cheese ravioli was not on the menu---BA had the BUtternut squash ravioli tho (just remembered) and she liked it!
