Okay. This is my first post.
My DH and I just (well, OK, about a month ago!) returned from our second Disney Cruise. Of course we LOVED it! We're already planning to go back again. I planned for my trip report. I had taken a notebook on our first Disney Cruise. I only ended up with about 2 days worth of notes. This time I had my trusty notebook and lots of pens. I took plenty of notes. That notebook was with me almost everywhere we went on the cruise. Anytime I had a few minutes to wait, I was updating my journal. I was psyched about writing my trip report. Then I read sleepydog25's trip report. I was totally bummed. Mine would never compare. Even with the DelSol nail polish that changes color in the sun! (Try that one next time Princess - he'll never know until he goes outside.) After a couple of days of consideration (and prodding from my better half), I decided to press on. Coming soon will be our trip report.

Yay! :dance3:

Look, PaDisneyCouple!! Three piping hot Eastern trippies to keep you company! Count 'em... three!

Can't wait to read it!

Oh, and most importantly....

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome: to the DIS!!

Here goes the start of my report.
Pre Trip Planning:
Cast -
myself (Boo-ger) 45
my DH (Capt Gman) 42 (yes, yes, I robbed the cradle! Get over it.)

Didn't really do a lot of that. We had lots of family issues over the last 2 years, and hadn't had a real vacation since Thanksgiving of 2005. So once we decided that we could actually go away, a Disney Cruise was the choice and the time had to be before March 15, 2007 (due to work projects). We decided on the Eastern Caribbean since we'd already done the Western, my DH wanted another day at sea (so I couldn't drag him off the ship for more excursions! ;) ), and the weather should be OK for travel from PA. In case some of you don't know it, we do get snow in PA.
I booked our airfare late (about 3 weeks before we left), and our ground transportation even later (about 3 days before we left). This was a "flying by the seat of our pants" trip. I usually begin packing at least one month before we leave, but this time packing didn't start until Wednesday. Hey, if we forget something, we'll just have to make do, or ... GO SHOPPING!!!!

Day 1 will follow .....

Thanks for the kind words! I've browsed the boards before, but am really looking forward to taking part. This is a nutty bunch! And we like it! :cool1:

We were there with you on the 3/3 Magic Eastern - POST ON!
We had a great time and I can't wait to read your report.

We were there too. We were the March Magic Magical Maniac Mob Members. We miss the people we ate with (Hi Ejkjmom) and our stateroom neighbors (Johnna and Mark).

Ooohhh this is looking GOOD!

This is the cruise we were supposed to be on, but our travel agent messed up (whimper)

I can't wait to hear about it!

I don't want to impose on your thread too much, but I didn't think it made sense to start a new post on the same cruise.
DW and I (both in our 40s) and DS 13 sailed on this cruise and had a GREAT time. I WANT TO GO BACK! NOW! I am working on the DW, but she says she doesn't want to cruise for every vacation, but I'm trying for at least once a year.
We had a fantasitic time and thought I would share a few memories:

CHRISTIAN take note, I know you read the boards! Our server Raman and aassistant Ion were FANTASTIC. DS had a picture taken with them the last morning. When I get them uploaded, I will try and post. My wife mentioned that she loved the banana bread one day. The next evening there was a package on the bread for DW to take to the cabin for snacking. THAT'S THE KIND OF MAGIC THAT MAKES ME LOVE DISNEY. Philipe (sp) our cabin steward was great. He always had a smile and attended to our every need. we hurried back to the cabin each nite to see the new ANIMAL. The entire crew at Treasue Ketch were so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed talking to Mike and hearing about his experience working on the ship and in the park.
I was eating lunch alone one day at P. Cay and they sat me with several of the entertainment staff. I really enjoyed getting to talk to them and relate with them in a relaxed one-on-one situation.
DS LOVED the crew at the Stack; we only saw him at dinner (and that took some effort). I got to speak with a couple of them during the cruise and felt perfectly comfortable letting him hang out there. Thanks again to Christian and all of the Magical Cast and Crew. I am ready to sail with you again.
Anyone else out there wanting to relive the experience.....
