Magic 3-19-05 ANYONE OUT THERE GOING?

We are bringing our babysitter Nicole with us. She is 18 and a senior in high school. I expect that the kids will be in the club often, so she will hang out with us and look for other teenagers. Maybe she can meet the others! :cheer2:

See ya real soon!

My daughter, Erica will be glad to meet your babysitter. She is 17 1/2 and a junior in highschool. A few weeks ago she went with a family that she babysits for to N.Y. They should have alot in common. Hope to get them together.

Hello again.....10 more days......YES!!

Just to update current browsers of this thread, we are also traveling with kids.
My daughter just turned 18 (she still qualifies for the teen scene because she is in high school, a senior) When we get back from the cruise, she will start to get her college notifications. It has been a busy year getting the college thing done. She is a competitive figure skater and is excited the movie "Ice Princess" will be playing on the cruise. She says it will be interesting to see how "true to form" the movie will be depicting the sport. My son is 12. He will no doubt spend alot of his time in the kids club and on the BB court. He is an avid hoops fan. We are worried this year that the Maryland Terps my not make the NCAA tournament. Last year when we were on the cruise, the Terps beat Duke in the ACC tournament. We watched the game in Key West and then back in our state room!! My nephew is 15. He will be hanging aroung my daughter most of the time. He is very interested in Drama and is now practicing for his school's spring play. He is the only Freshman in the play. That's our "kids" in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you soon.

daily trips to Newark, De

Newark? I went to UD (way back in the day) - is that what you go there for? I'd be very concerned about the Terps making the NCAAs after their recent losses (quite the shame after winning twice against Duke).

I have DS11 and DD9 looking forward to the Lab and everything else. We've got late seating so that we don't have to rush back to the ship. I'm glad we're actually docking at St. Thomas (albeit at Crown Bay).

My daughter figure skates at UD , It is a national training center for figure skating. I drive her there each day. I do a lot of driving and I do NOT like the price of gas.

I remember when the Skating Club of Wilmington was the big training center, then UD (after I graduated) invested a ton of money and built their big rink. Very nice place (right next to the TUB - go Hens!!!).

Ice schmice - see you guys in a week on the beach

Only one more week of work! St. Patrick's Day is only a week away. (Dreaming of green beer! ) The kids are going to miss one day of school, but how much do they actually do the day before vacation! :teacher: We are leaving town a week from tonight to spend the evening at the airport hotel in Indy. We have an early flight into MCO, so we are exited to spend part of a day in Orlando. We will probably go to CityWalk to eat at Margarittaville since we haven't been there in a while and it hard to fit off-property things into our Disney schedules.

My kids had a question last night. How are we going to know who we've met here? Is there a meeting place at a certain time? I'm not sure if I can say we'll be wearing this or that since we have to add the kid factor. :smooth: I can tell you that I'm the one with a big smile plastered on my face, but aren't we all! :earboy2:

See ya real soon,

We are heading out tonight to stay at the hotel by the airport, so this is my last day before vacation! Only 4.5 hours left of work!

We'll see you there. If you're looking for us, we're the ones with kids. :rotfl2: Hope that helps. :rotfl:
