Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

I just wanted to tell you that I was impressed with Nic. He was very mannerable, and is a really nice young man. He seemed kind of quiet, but I manged to get him to talk a couple of times. I have a quiet one, too, so I know how difficult that can be sometimes! He looked like he was having a great vacation.

Thanks for such a compliment! Nic is a wonderful kid, but I'm naturally biased. And yes, for the most part he is a quiet one until he really gets to know you then if he's talking about something that is really important to him...watch out! He did have the best vacation! He loved the freedom he had onboard ship...exploring late at night or going to the movie on his own. I think though he may have enjoyed dining by himself in Lumiere's while Eric and I were at the Palo brunch.

Again thanks for the compliment...means I must be doing something right.

Hey John you are in luck!!! Every room on the back of the house has a lake view!!! The bar area has it's own view......the family room in the lower level has the lake view.....the "game room" in the lower level......the master bed room upstairs......and the kitchen.....
I got the "pop machine" moved over Sunday......It holds 650 cans and 10 different selections of my favorite brews.....Band practice, beer drinking practice whatever we need to do to make an "impression" on our Turkey day 05 fellow sailors!!!

Hey, I swear I'm still working on getting my photos from the cruise uploaded somewhere somehow...

We had snow the week of Christmas and I pretty much turned into a couch potato...so when the college opens this week I'm gonna try to get into Eric's office where I can use the T1 line to get them up more quickly. I'll let ya'll know when I do.

We're coming too! It's me, DH, DD (8) and DS (6). We'll be traveling with another DIS family we met on a May 2003 Western cruise.

A question to the returning Turkey cruisers, is formal night on Thanksgiving? When were the theme nights? No one has a navigator or special menu posted, just looking for any new info.

We cannot wait!!!! 319 more days....

Sometimes me wishes I had as much extra time as you do...heck even one microsecond of it would be great these days!

Hi Turkey cruisers- keep us in your thoughts/prayers- Mark is getting deployed (in August) for 1 year... In the meantime, we are trying to sell our acreage & move into town before he has to leave. It has been crazy here getting the house ready to sell & baseball/soft ball games- we have 2 days in June when we don't have any games. Palo's sounds good about now!!

Will do! My cousin (Army reserves) is in Iraq...his second time around and this time he volunteered...was home for a few days in March when he had been injured...the humvee was hit and it landed on him...as he put it, "I didn't loose my chew, I didn't break my Oakley's and I didn't get hurt". Thank God! My nephew in the Marines is questionable. We thought he'd never go since he's in Admin, but he tells us the corps. are in the process of replacing the West coast batallion with the East coast batallion (his) and they are about 20,000 short so he just might go. We are a military family for many generations so we understand duty...hope ya'll have some great times together before deployment and that he will be back home within a short time. We will add his name to the prayer list at church. Keep us informed...which unit he's
with and such...
