Magic 11/20/04 Thanksgiving Cruisers?

I like the sound of foofy drink divas and dudes better than "divos". Wasn't that a group back in the '80s? Since this is a Carribean Cruise, how about frozen rum runners?? That is my dh's favorite semi foofy drink.

I love this group....shrimp, beer, foofy drinks, hot tub, etc..I'm with you all!!!!!! Just make sure we all have our share.

Now, I'm ready for this!!!:jumping1: :jumping1:

Question #2:

For you guys that are taking tuxes, are you wearing them on the semi-formal night also?

shrimp eatin' foofy drink Diva

That's a good question!!:)

I remember last time on DCruise, my DH did not have tux, only a good black suit for both formal and semi. I think it's cool to wear a tux. For those who cruise before, what did you do and wear.

I like to try packing enough clothes so that I don't have to do laundry...is not fun doing it on a boat.:crazy2: :crazy2:

Julia::MinnieMo

Sorry.....no tux for me I'm on vacation!!! Maybe a suitcoat on formal (DW has to take pics) but other than that it's casual......hot tub? Too many "dis geeks" could scare the kids........who wants to meet me in the "adult" tub?

Who wants to see Lampy do the Eddie Murphy impersonation of James Brown in the Hot Tub??

"gettin in the hot tub--is it too hot?" Of course that would make us his back up singers:confused:

No tux here, either. I almost rented one onboard. But decided to go more casual with a sport coat and tie instead for formal night. I do think a tux looks sharp, though!

Anyone else using Captain Marvin at GC? I emailed a reservation, but no reply. We are wanting to do the all day trip.

I have gotta get some work done today. Gotta keep my mind from already being in the Carribean!

We are using Captain Marvins and it took a couple of days for them to get back to us. They have an 800 number. Did you try that??

and

only 9 more days!!

We booked the half day trip back in August. They said that they will be glad to see us after the Hurricanes

I just called the 800 number. They id have my reservation. But did not send me a conf. email. She did not know why. Anyway, we are booked for the full day. If the ship is late, or if not enough sign up for the full day, we will be on the half day at 10:00 AM.

10 day forcast looks good but i have not heard yet if it is heading north or west into the Gulf.

The people on next weeks cruise need to blow real hard so we have the good weather.

Leave it to the Texans to have the national weather service website bookmarked:p

and yes, I have it bookmarked also:D

OOOOOKAYYYYY, so what does this mean for us?

Northeastward...does that mean that it will be north of PC by next friday?
BTW...i can tell you about the weather patterns of the Midwest(no i can't but it sounded good) if can can tell me we are going have clear skies and smooth sailing.

Still too early to tell anything. May not even form up. Usually those things are more likely to dissipate this time of year.

That's it!
you are now the official weatherman
Start posting next week the day by day

I will call in our res tonight for all, for the sun to be out and no rough seas.

We have been to Florida many times and have seen the way Disney controls the weather. I think they will only take res 3 days prior to a vacation. But heck, i'll try tonight.
My monthly DVC dues ought to buy some favors!:smooth:

Hey gang,

Just got back from a few days in Wille's part of the country. Attended a conference, visited my brother... and the highlight was getting an hour and a half of track time in his Indy car. What a blast!!! Lampy, there's no comparison between one of those and the Vette!! We'll talk on the cruise.

It looks like I may call Captain Marvins tomorrow. We used then two years ago and liked them.

When I got home I had this in my Inbox from NativeWay Watersports:

Pleasant Greetings from Grand Cayman!

Unfortunately, we are going to have to cancel the "Rays, Reef, and Rum Point"
tour. Rum Point is not open and will not be re-opening until December 15.
Based on conversations with the manager, we were hopeful that they would be
open when you arrive (they did not have that much damage). However, we now
know that is not going to happen.

We do have availability on our "Stingray Sandbar and Coral Gardens tour". It
runs for 2.5 hours and costs $25 US per person. The morning tour departs the
pier at 9 AM Eastern Time and completes at 11:45 AM. After the tour, you have
two options for drop off: back to the pier, or , at 7-mile beach (where you
can taxi back at any time for $4 per person).

Let me know if you would like to reserve space.

bfosbenner,

Yes, the C6 is awseome. There was one on the track while I was there. I've got a Z06 that's been babied w/ 2K on it. Still the fastest vette until sometime in 2006 when the new Zs come out with 500hp.

All,

We are going to Gran Cayman, not Costa Maya?

OK, now i found who to "hang" with
My 40th BD this past WDW Trip i did the RP experience.
Came home and instead of buying our third Lexus. i opted for a '03 Cobra Convertable. I only use first, second and sixth gear.
2nd gear gas shuts off at 76mph(i tried to get it to 80mph)
i do not like straight lines. The car(driver) likes the corners.
With 3 kids, DW said four seater.
Maybe for my 44th bday i can get a two seater! Although driving an INDY car around a circle will please me greatly:p
