Made The Switch To CBR

We were originally booked at CSR for our upcoming July trip to the world, I wasn't really satisfied after reading reviews in regards to the dirty rooms and conventions, In July during the time we are going there are two conventions scheduled so I let my DS choose another resort and CBR it is, we've stayed here a few years ago and I enjoyed it, the food wasn't to good but maybe they have made some changes.

Congrats! Excellent choice, CBR is our favorite Moderate. They did get a new Executive Chef a couple years ago and it's made a huge difference. Shutters is a hidden gem now in our opinion. Make sure you come check out the very informative CBR FAQ Thread.

Shutters is better than advertised. And we love CBR.

We've heard nothing but rave reviews about Shutters but we never did dine there on our last stay. I had no complaints with the food at the food court though. It was typical QS meals, nothing bad.

The Pirate Rooms are the ones farthest from the food court and main pool. They also still have double sized beds instead of the queens in the rest of the buildings.

We love CBR. I really wanted to try Shutters last time, but we just could not fit it in. I have heard it is wonderful.

If they try, I took a screenshot of disneys website that shows standard rooms as queen beds. They tried to put us in a pirate room- the CM told me when you book a standard that means they can put you ANYWHERE. I showed her my screenshot of Disney website showing standard as queen beds, saying that is what I booked, and that's what I want. They moved us to preferred because they didn't have standard rooms- they overbooked them. This is the screen from the booking page that I showed.
