and accidently left the second tray STILL in the oven OVER NIGHT!!:headache:

I pulled out the first tray, turned OFF the oven, then totally forgot to pull out and refrigerate the second tray. Dinner was a bit later, after baseball, like 8pm, and just forgot. I could cry, what a waste.

Ok, I just looked at them, smelled them and they actually seem okay.... They're actually cold - we have the A/C cranked - youngest DS has allergies and it really helps.

Crap, I know I should toss them.... or...should I chance it?

Where's the crying icon? Or stupid icon?:headache::sad2::sad1:
I am sick
Thanks for listening. I know my budget board peeps will understand.

:hug:I've done things like this don't be so hard on yourself, but I would definitely toss them.

saving $10 is not worth the loss of a week of your life or your families being sick from food poisioning. might end up in a $100 ER visit.

Toss them.

I wouldn't eat them.

But post the recipe for the best chicken ever!!!

Yeppers, throw those bad boys out. Looking forward to the recipe! :teeth:

I couldn't get past the thought that anyone actually used their oven yesterday. We hit 96 degrees here! :headache:

I came here looking for the recipe, too!
Sorry you had to toss the chicken. Total bummer, but had to be done.

You guys are too cute!

Well for one thing, they were cooked perfectly. Fully done but not at all dry. Well, except those left in the oven all night :rolleyes1

Easy peasy recipe LOL -
I dip them in beaten egg (serves as *glue) then roll them in a mix of pretzels (broken crumbs I pound from a regular bag) with parmesan cheese and a little pepper. Simple, easy and delish - the whole family love them, and I often make them for parties, too.

ok but do you fry them? or just bake them?( flip them?) (what temp & how long?

I know just how you feel... we had a crawfish boil (40 lbs) and when everyone had left (2 AM or so) I had no idea there were still an ice chest full of crawfish bout 15 lbs left. Hubby had already gone to bed earlier. I didn't look just wanted to get to bed myself... well woke up the next morning to find the ice chest full of crawfish... I was so  what a waste...

Can't wait to try your recipe... sound great.. :thumbsup2

thanks for sharing

I always bake them, usually in a glass baking dish. Its a tasty coating for other things too, including fish like flounder, grouper or tilapia.
