Made my solo dining ressies

While this is not my first solo trip, this will be my first adventure in solo table service. I booked: San Angel Inn, Crystal Palace, Brown Derby, and Boma.

Now I just need to forget about the post that said the characters make cruel gestures and tease you if you are solo at Crystal Palace.

Maybe you can find someone here that is going the same time that might be willing to join you at CP!

Besides if I see or hear any CMs make fun off me at CP when I meet Pooh and friends, I know that the Manager WILL HEAR FROM ME! Sorry small rant!

I've worked in Food service for over 20yrs, and you never should talk about customers, especially where they can hear you!

Brown Derby is definitely on my list, but I think I'm going to do a "Dine with an Imagineer" thing.

I've never done San Angel or Boma, but I recently went to Crystal Palace on my March solo trip, but as an invite to join some DISers that I knew. I wanted to try Crystal Palace, so I was happy not to go alone. However, I did have solo pictures with the characters and there wasn't any sort of "boo-hoo" moment.

I do have to say that there wasn't any sort of real interaction at all. Maybe it was just too early? I'll have that TR up soon-ish.

I've had many meals solo and never experienced such a thing. The cast members all treated me well. I will admit the characters at CP maybe didn't spend as much time at my table since there weren't any children, but I've eaten at other character meals and they were great.

Have a good time. I eat solo often at WDW and have never had a problem. If a character did come up and make sport of me it would be he or she that would end up with a big problem.
