Made my PS... what should I do!?!?!

okay,

So I just made my PS for dinner at Le Cellier for Wednesday night. The only time they had was for 8:50pm.

This means I will miss the fireworks

My boyfriend really wanted to try Le Celier, and since this is our only night at Epcot, it's our only shot of eating there.

So my question is.....

Do you think Le Cellier is good enough food to miss the foreworks show?

Also, what are some other of the great places to eat for dinner that I could possibly book instead of Le Cellier in case we decide the fireworks are more important than stuffing our faces.. lol

I'm glad you got the PS. My family and I are there for seven nights and we couldn't get reservations any night because we have such a large party and we wanted to sit together. I hope you enjoy it.

Maybe since you PS is so late you can step outside while your food is being cooked and be able to see some of the fireworks and then step back in for a wonderful dinner.

I have not eaten there myself yet, but have heard wonderful things about this restaurant.

I don't know when your trip is, but you might keep checking every couple of days to see if there has been a cancellation. You might also go to the restaurant on the day you are there and see what the wait is at an earlier time.

if not, I think maybe we will just step outside like you said. they dont mind if you leave for a few minutes and come back in? I doubt they would......

I know that I may be in the minority here, but we have eaten there twice and felt the food was okay but not fantastic. I would NOT give up watching Illuminations to eat there. Make an earlier PS at another restaurant, our favorite in Teppanyaki in Japan.

I agree with sugarmouse. I wouldn't give up Illuminations to eat there. Actually, I wouldn't give up Illuminations to eat anywhere in Epcot!

Last time we ate at LeCellier it took them awhile passed PS time to seat us. That may happen to you, if so, they give you a buzzer that allows you to wait outside. You'd be able to see some of Illuminations.

I don't think stepping outside is an option. and Illuminations goes like twenty minutes or so. most of it is on the lake.
Keep trying but if you don't get it you can always do the Yachtsman steakhouse at the Yachtclub, excellent steaks, even more pricey than Le Cellier though but neither is cheap.
