I've just made my March 2008 ADRs. We typically eat breakfast in the room and hit a CS for lunch. Thus, all my ADRs are for dinner.

Wow, DVC Mike, great restaurant selections!! The day you leave Oct. 6, will be the day we arrive so we'll just miss you!
I do have a couple of questions for you though: First of all, who is in your party? Second, do you rent a car or use Disney transportation? Do you usually go back to your hotel room before dinner?
As you can tell I'm having a problem with my own plans! I have all of these great ADR's but they're really spread out. (4 Epcot dinners: San Angel Inn, , Les Chefs de France, Nine Dragons and Coral Reef and the rest are all at different resorts: Yachtsman's steakhouse, Whispering Canyon, Kona, Boma And Chef Mickey's). I'm having trouble figuring out when the UG recommends me to go to one park and avoid another park, and if I have time to go back to my hotel. On top of that, not knowing wether I should rent a car, call taxis, or just deal with the WDW buses.
Any advice would be helpful! Thanks! :)

For your Spoodles ressie...If Said is your waiter please request another one. We ate at Spoodles on Saturday. The food was delish. However, our 3 hour meal with no drink refills , ignored by Said the entire time kinda put a damper on the evening.

I do have a couple of questions for you though: First of all, who is in your party?

Just my wife and I - a party of two with no kids!

Second, do you rent a car or use Disney transportation?

We have always used Disney transportation; however, beginning with our next trip we will be driving down to WDW. Thus, we can use our car or Disney transportation.

Do you usually go back to your hotel room before dinner?

Since we're DVC members, we get to go to WDW often enough so we don't have to be park commandos and hit the parks hard (from dawn to late at night). We'll usually have breakfast in our room (we stay in a 1 BR which has a full kitchen), and then go to a park. Then, we'll head back to the room, relax and get ready for dinner. After dinner (depending on the season), we head back out to a different park.

In the past, we would use the UG web site to figure out what parks we wanted to be at on a particular day, and then we'd pick a nearby restaurant. If we're at MK, we could eat at MK, GF, Poly, or CR -- or even hop the monorail to an Epcot restaurant. If you don't have a car, be sure and leave extra time for taking Disney transportation. We've been fortunate to plan our past trips where we only had to hop in a taxi once (to get to Jiko at AKL).

This sounds like the makings of an awesome review upon your return. I look forward to hearing all about it.

Thanks DVC Mike for taking the time to respond to my numerous questions.

Can I ask you one more though? What is your favorite restaurant so far in WDW? (Pick one regular TS restaurant and one Signature please!)
I don't know if you've been on the board recently but I have a couple of Polls going on right now.....I love soaking in everyone experiences and knowledge! :)

Flyin Fish was incredible, best salmon I ever had.

Le Cellier was also incredible, the filet mignon was to die for.

Good choice, you're making me hungry!

I didn't really like Jiko when I ate there, but I know that's a favorite for a lot of people. I also really didn't care for Marrakesh that much, and I thought the service there was very slow and inattentive. Other then that I've really liked the other places on your list I've been to.
