I just made my ADRs and now Im a little nervous about California Grill. What exactly is the dress code? Is there anything for my picky husband to eat? I also booked Le Cellier, Liberty Tree Tavern, Coral Reef, 1900 Park Fare. Any input on these would be much appreciated :goodvibes

you made great choices! Le Cellier is incredible!! We've eaten there several times, and it is on our "must do every trip" list! Coral Reef, I think it may have made that list as well. It was our favorite meal during our last trip by far! LTT is a great place as well. we ate there for lunch, so there were no characters for our meal, but the apple dessert was incredible! I haven't tried Cali Grill or 1900 Park Fare yet, but I've heard wonderful things about them and wouldn't change my adr's. Next trip we'll do CG for sure. Great view for Wishes too ;) so is Ohana at Poly ;)!!!

Do not be nervous about California Grill. There is a suggested dress code of resot or business casual there, which is collared shirts, pants for men, they do not allow swim wear/pool wear, ripped clothing etc. I have never seen anyone turned away, but wearing a swimsuit is inappropriate in a restaurant to me. Polo shirts, khaki pants, dress shirts, tank tops for women, capris are the norm, some people come a little more casual.

There are some basic meats like the pork tenderloin and filet, both are wonderful. If there is a specific ingredient that is added to the dish you can ask to have it omitted, unless it is part of a recipe that they cannot change. You can also request a different side dish if you dislike the one it is served with. Try a couple of appetizers or salads between you and make him try something new. The flatbreads are delicious. The food is really great, I do not think you will be disapointed.

All restaurants are used to park wear! My and my brood ( DH and four kids) did jeans or Khakis for nicer restaurants if you want to try to dress it up a bit.

As far as the menus. My husband, who is really picky) ordered things plain or without sauce and that worked really well!

Your pix are great! Enjoy!

We have ADRs for California Grill in August and there is a dress code. But I don't remember what it is :lmao:
