Made my 90 day ADRS today! - My Experience

Called at exactly 12 noon. Was told the wait was less than 5min, it was. The CM that answered sounded really tired, kept sighing all the time although she was pleasant enough, tried to remind myself how I felt at 7am this morning getting ready for work!.

We are booked with Virginholidays so gave her the Virgin Booking reference. Took about 10 minutes to find us on the system after putting me back on hold. She was very apologetic though.

Went through my ADRs and surprisingly GOT THEM ALL at the times I wanted with two within 10-15mins!!!!!!!!!!

Heres what I have:-

Crystal Palace (Dinner)
Donalds (Breakfast) Tusker House
Akershus Princess (Breakfast)
HoopDeDoo
Boma (Dinner)
Ohana's (Breakfast)
Chef Mickey's (Breakfast)
Le Cellier (Dinner)
Whispering Canyon (Dinner)
Coral Reef (Dinner)

I just can't believe it! - After all that panic! - Im so so pleased!. We are arriving on the 27th August for 10 nights and I didn't think we would get much (esp Le Cellier!) as it's free dining period! - so of course I am hoping this means the parks will be quiet! I guess the trick is to phone exactly at 12 noon.

Make sure you note all the ressie numbers and times down too - I will be calling to confirm soon (just to make sure it's really true!)

The whole call took less than 40 minutes to complete so really pleased with that - just be calm, organised, flexible and most of all call on time!

Glad you got everything you wanted. I too had a painless ADR phonecall when I made mine (the 1st day free dining opened in the US!) It isn't as bad as some people are making out, or actually maybe we are just lucky.

Excellent result.

We never had a problem last year when we booked ours and we were there at a similar time to you.

The parks were really quiet after the american bank holiday, so maybe that's why you didn't have any trouble this year either, whereas others are going in the american school hols.

when are you going?
i'm not sure exactly when my 90 day mark is - and i think i have to advance my reservation, so it may actually be today..
oh wait - i see you're arriving on the 27th...
i'm currenty scheduled for sept 6th - but i think i have to advance it to august 29th..
i'm going to try calling disney to see if i can advance it and still retain the free dining...
i completely messed up on the dates..
