I know chances of SDD were slim to none, but surprised at how late in the afternoon others I got were.
Now do I refresh every chance I get for the next 30 days in hopes to modify for earlier, try each morning at 7:00am to modify the ones I have?
Just wondering if more are released each day or should I just make my plan using what I have & save my sanity for the next 30 days.
TIA

That doesn't sound very magical. First week of May is typically a fairly low crowd time. How many were you booking for?

Sorry it didn't go as you hoped. Unfortunately it's not going to get better with even more offsite locations coming on board for 60 day access. Not to mention the new Disney properties.

Refresh works best day of. The more I have been over the past year and a half to 2 years being an AP holder. We have a trio in 4 weeks and I'm not even worried about fps. I can do so much the day of, making fps 30 or even 60 days out doesn't matter any more.

No they don’t release new ones each day so don’t waste your time setting an alarm and checking at 7am. People switch their plans around at any time of day so a casual stalk may benefit you, but the best strategy is usually day before/day of when people are actively changing and canceling plans.

When I was unable to get SDD and FOP during our October trip @even 60, I stalked the website several times a day, every day and within 2 weeks had them both. It’s a lot of work, but availability pops up from time to time. First thing in the morning never produced much.

I suggest checking around to 10-11 am hour. A few weeks ago there was a pretty well established pattern of drops for SDD and TSMM. I’m not sure if that’s still a thing or not- it had let up for a while.

Refreshing worked great for us last year the first week of April. I would check 1-2 days before in the evening. That seems to be the time that people who planned 60 days out find that they are not able to get up early enough for those morning FP+s. I had success adding or modifying at the 1-2 day mark for every park and got everything I needed, including adding FoP.

The same strategy worked last July for SDD.

I agree that checking once or twice a day between now and your trip is probably worth while (refreshing any earlier than the night before is not).

I would definitely recommend looking in the morning before park open. This morning I saw a 9:30 SDMT pop for a party of 5. It's the second time ever I've seen a 7DMT same day and the other time was pre-park open as well. People realize they aren't going to make their early morning FPs and modify them. I haven't been looking for SSD but I would guess it has a similar trend.

Yup use the refresh trick for FPs on the day of their use. You might not get SDD or FOP(although I did this last week) but almost everything else will pop up.

They are going the beginning of April.
edit: sorry saw you realized it.

Well you are booking 30 days out where as onsite guests booked 60 days out.
Plus you're going during spring break season.
Its not surprising that you're not getting exactly what you want exactly when you want.
I've found refresh works best day of.
Feel free to try modifying but also be prepared to not get any better results.
I'd probably just plan around what you have set up now and if you can get an earlier time then great.

We are going that same week and I booked our fastpasses 70 days out at 6 AM. The earliest I could get ToT was 3 pm.
Not sure about when, but I head they're rehabbing ToT so running at reduced capacity. If the timing is right, that might explain that.

Can you please tell me what you did get and what time? We are staying offsite in early May.

Also can you let us know how your MK booking day goes? Curious about BTMR and PP availability in the mornings.

Luckily, there’s a lot more availability for early May than one of the busiest times of year- spring break.

I just booked today at 60 days for early May and had my choice of the most popular attractions at whatever time I needed. That will tighten up for 30 days on those, but I doubt you’ll have a great deal of trouble with much of anything except SDMT, FOP and SDD.

I find the Dibb to be pretty accurate on availability. You have to sign up to see their fp availability charts, but it’s a good way to gauge how tough FPS will be to get.

Does the Dibb show what times are available? I have not signed up but I have been able to see color codes charts but they dont mention times of day. Wondering if I need to sign up to see more info?

You don't have to sign up. They don't show times, but they do have an A = afternoon, E = evening, M = morning designation within each day on the calendar.
