Made first Ressie...

After waiting for everything to be finalized with my resale, (The owners were from england) everything was ready today and I was able to book my first ressie for a studio at OKW. I really cut it to the wire since my dates will be 2/29 -3/5.
I had a great CM in Membership Services too. He knew I had been sweating it out and that it was my first reservation and he shared my entusiasm and excitement for it! Really kinda made my day.

Congrats! We too are waiting for our resale to be finalized. The closing paperwork is in the mail to us as I write this, but I am wondering how long it took for you to be able to make a reservation after the closing was completed? We hope to be able to book a trip for early July (yes, we are crazy to go in such hot weather, but its a chance for just me and the husband without the kids) as soon as we are finalized. Thanks, and congrats again!

They received my closing paperwork on January 22 and I was in DVC's system and made a reservation on February 18th. With my resale it took a little longer because the sellers were located in England and that supposedly slowed things a little. Not sure if the sellers were also dragging their feet or not.
