made an alcohol decision & Im sticking with it

This time of year is always hard on me w/drinking - reminds me too much of the ole college spree days.
But Ive made a decision that Im not drinking until at least July 18th.
DS & I go away for a 3day mini-vaca July 3rd wknd. Since it's the 2 of us Im taking it as a mother/son bonding time and leaving the Zimas at home.
Now July 18-24 is a different story. DH is coming w/us on that 6nighter and I know we'll want to hang out and PARTY !

Good for you, Barb. I'm so proud of you for making a plan.

I made several trips with my son before he grew up and moved away. I have wonderful memories of driving across country with him. The two of you will become much closer, I'm sure.

It's only 5 weeks until your "party", you can do it.
